NOT AT ALL. WHY WOULD ANYONE IN THERE RIGHT MIND RACE A HONDA ODESSY?? :odd: What were they thinking. I can see having some station wagons, god know I like the old Volvo wagons  but vans are just rediculous.

Just trying to be different i guess. I see no problem with them. If you can race em in real life why not in a game. I have seen some suped up Astro vans.

I thought they were great, I occasionally take a vehicle I'd otherwise never drive and see how quickly I can get it around any particular track. I thought it was a great way to get an idea of how their real-life counterparts actually handle. I like taking cars for a Sunday Enthusia drive (I use Time Attack for this, because I'm not racing them I'm driving them).

However.

I'd much prefer they put the effort towards more tracks, a better career mode, cockpits for the existing cars - that kind of thing.

Tell me honestly people:
Do you race with all these vans, econolines and station wagons ?

No. :) Though I did use a Legacy wagon or Outback or something early in the game as a first AWD racer.

The nice thing about Enthusia though, is you really don't have to. Whereas in the GT series, seems like I get stuck way too long toiling in the Bush League category of races driving uninspiring cars because I can't afford anything better at first.

Know what I mean ? "To enter the Daihatsu Cup, you must drive one of these eligible cars:
Daihutsu Snail
Daihatsu Slug
Daihatsu Sloth
Daihatsu Sloth Type-R."

I guess my only critique of Enthusia on this matter is that GT4 has 700 cars, so what does it really matter that 100 are dull POS ? But with 200 cars, not nearly as much elbow room is left for the inclusion of the bland.

Konami would have a goldmine if this was made for pc and not ps2, even though i love my ps2 the PC needs games like these

NSX-R
Never touch the Vans...except in DR

Did someone say my name?...

Seriously though, I find driving these unconventional racers to be very gratifying, just in a different way...

;)

The various japanese vans: uncool, and ugly.

Astro: AWESOME!! A friend of mine recorded a replay of him using the Astro to beat a Trueno at the Dragon Range, just to make Initial D fanboys cry.

economy cars: Fun to push to their limits. :)

wagons: there are lots of capable wagons out there, and there are hardly any wagons in Enthusia that aren't just differently-shaped versions of good cars (Subaru Legacy for example)
