I've started something new. First new car in at least 2 months, been a bit over worked at uni :p

be patient ive been busy :p
Selling a load of model cars on ebay, going out with my new missus, fixing the car after an MOT failure, etc.
i will get it finished soon i promise, but i need a hell load of time to crack on it!
Looks good from the linework so far don, is it me or are the wheels a little small?! :confused:
 
Yeah i guess the wheels do look a touch small here, although they look better in the photo. Hopefully improve once coloured.

this isnt really 100% vector but the lines are. havent done this in a while and thought id try it a different way.

ill get back to normal vector car/stuff again later, but this is kinda fun for now.

it's been a while since i posted anything here, but i have a couple of new vectors i completed recently, first is a dio that a friend of mine owns, and the 2nd is the '06 Renault R26. all comments are welcome.

:lol: Well the characters are made up from a font i downloaded, but the numbers are real. Did a little research into getting it correct; kinda forgotten what they mean though!
 
Sod gradients, i'm old skool (That and i don't know how to do them :( ) I also tend to work in black and white:

tooned car dont in ms paint but speeded up.
 
My first ever car vector! Took about 7 hours overall (due to me changing it all the time), i'm quite pleased with it considering it's my first ever vectored car. I had to do most of it as i thought it would look because the source images had loads of reflections all over the car and had weird lighting.


Anyway here it is:

fideles1986: I think you should brighten up the banner, it looks more maroon than red. Schumi and the car look good though.
 
Here is my second ever vector I decided to do it of my grand am gt. Gradients really make the car look alot more realistic. I still have some work to do on the taillight to make it look better i think. Let me know what you think about the car.
