actually, i did use a circle-- but i use flash to draw all my toons, not illustrator or photoshop.. so there's no "path" lol

My first ever attempt at this, EVER.


Haven't finished it yet, and i have no idea how to do the wheels properlly, but here's how it's doing so far.

It's a literllay huge image, so i thumbnailed.

 
looks pretty good so far.. put the wheel layer on top though.. :) other than that, seems that the only thing the body needs now is some shading.. & 2 more wheels.. :lol: good work tho

Yeah, i did a bit of shoddy work on the wheels, i think i'll do that again :lol:

well, i took a small break to do a little bit of pixeling, and then i started up another vector, nice new Lingenfelter 'Vette, i had trouble with the rear wheels.

anyways, here it is (pic is huge)



BTW, i just realized i forgot a shadow, so please dont piss and moan about me forgetting it, i realize.

Looking good! I tuned a Corsa a year ago.. And a Focus with that bumper too :D

It's amazing! Just make the shadows/lines abit smoother and it's top class! 👍

Basic bodyshell ouline of a Golf R32 WIP:
(it is quite hard to outline when you have to use a line tool to form a shell)

Can someone please smooth over the lines and corners for me please? The program I have can't do that (think of Paint with layers and gradients, and you're almost there).

Sadly, 'tis not as simple as just "smoothing over the lines and corners". For a bit of free software that can do vector-style art (i.e., handle paths), try the GIMP.
 
Minimal progress since my last post :indiff:

My free time is severely limited these days...maybe it will be finished over Thanksgiving break...
 
hmm.. i wanna say bimmer.. but i'm not sure.. looks nice for a fender :P lol
 
I'm starting to get how you could toon in PS but how would you do the blending like in Illustrator? Filters?
 
all of mine are done in flash MX Pro -- 100% of them, i dont use photoshop except to capture a screenshot :)
