Just out of curiosity, what are the top ten countries in the world? Does any one know? By top 10, I mean world powers.

I know that China and The United States would make the list. However, what about the other 8.

It's hard to say. I'd think India, China, Japan, Pakistan, Turkey, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, America, et al, could be on there.

I think cross referencing GDP and Military power is your best bet, but trying to find the info can be a pain.

In size? Population? Intelligence? Dumbness? Weight per inhabitant? Your list makes no sense.

Power is a relative term. Arab states with modest power can be thought of as powrful because of their strategic location and vote power. Syria might be a good example.

Mauritania
Bermuda
Chad
Guam
That funny boot shaped place in European
Mongolia
Hawaii
That cold place near Russia
Zimbabwe
The Aleutians

This is all based off the Klostrophobic quotient.
Aaaaand Japan bailed America's arse out of Afghanistan and Iraq like the UK and Australia did? I didn't know that.

If you want to start Amerca bashing try going to the Opinions forum and see how it's done first, amateur.

I don't need to go to the Opinions forum; that's where all the amateurs hang out. Compare the Opinions forum the Drifters' forum, for example - just swap drifting for America bashing.

That is irrelevent. It is not included in the Klostrophobic quotient.

Besides, Australia didn't really bail the US out. I'm sure the US could have taken care of the Middle East in it's entirety, most of Europe, and all of Australia all by it's big bad self.

You suck at America bashing. Even that Jay Wilkie guy is better.

1. USA
2. Israel
3. UK
4. Australia
5. Germany
6. Vatican City
7. Japan
8. China
9. India
10. Brazil

Those are out of personal preference...

I know that both the US and Europe are in fact continents, but I can understand putting the US in the list because of our federal government, but how can Europe be in there, Chris?

The top ten countries should be a cross reference of the following factors.

Education
Living standards
Wealth
Military
Foreign affairs relevance
Population
Land size

When did the US become a continent?

I bet that would put the US at the top followed by Japan most likely. Then the UK, then Canada, then Australia. Maybe.

Wow, mostly English speaking countries, too.

It's always been a continent, as far as I know. States and countries can be synonymous.

I'm probably confusing the Continent of the North America with the US.

I think so. Canada is part of North America, too.
