No particular order:

Honda Raybrig NSX; I adore the GT500 class, and I've always loved the NSX. This one becoming my favourite car in the game was only a matter of time!
Mazda 787B; probably my favourite LMP if only for the screaming engine.
Toyota GT-86; surprisingly good drifter, and takes to the DLC chromes wonderfully.
Shelby Cobra; American (kind of) muscle (also kind of) of choice, handling isn't great but a hellishly fun car.
Mazda RX-7 FD Spirit; my first solid drifter on GT5, and still one that sees regular use.

I agree with what was said before, it's fantastic to see such a diverse range of cars in this thread.

Well, not my favorite cars, but in order of ones I use the most.

1. Lotus Elise 111 - I have this tuned so I can race against Mazda 787b and similar cars still win on some tracks due to it's serious grip. That car is just stupid good.

2. Lambourghini Muira P400 Bertone Prototype CN.0706 67 - Timeless appeal and drives extremely well. I use it online a ton.

3. Mazda Roadster TC - This thing is just a grip machine. Makes all the other Miata lookalikes cry with no effort at all. Can compete with cars you wouldn't think it could keep up with.

4. Mclaren MP4-12C - Another car I am just surprised by what some simple tuning can do. I use it for a lot of races.

5. Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2 Carrozzata Da Zagato '65 - I just like driving this thing. It's a beautiful car, wonderful sound, handles great. I just wish it had a tad bit more power or was a little less in the PP area so I could race it a lot more. It doesn't really keep up well with the PP level of cars it's in if you fully tune it, but I love this car.

Ferrari F-40 for Honorable mention. Man, I love that car.
Lamborghini Aventador is close to being on there also. That thing amazes me with it's handling for such a flying brick that it should be with that weight.

In no order:

Corvette ZR1(no rm)
Ruf RGT
Bmw M3
Viper team Oreca
Ford GT LM spec 2

Close ones:

Ford Mustang Mach 1
GT-R Vspec '09
458 italia
438 Scudeira
Lambo Super Veloce

My top five include:

Mclaren F1: I love it's presence, it's force and it's interior

Nissan S13: Good interior view for drifting, enough ponies to make a good drifter, and it is simply beautiful in the white/gold two tone.

Ferrari California: This thing will drift anything pure stock, plus it's a FERRARI, and a convertable.

Nissan/Datsun 510 rally car: Having being driven in one in real life holds this baby close to me heart. It's old school 👍

E Type Jag: My name for starters, it rocks. It's the pinnacle of what Jags where back in the day, and I love it in it's standard bronze

1.) Lamborghini Muira - Oh lawwwwwwd this car is amazing in every respect. Drives perfectly, looks amazing, sounds amazing...oh man.
2.) Lexus LFA - Favorite modern car. Dat display, dat sound, dat LOOK!
3.) Nissan GT-R '12 - Yay slightly modified, blue GT-R!
4.) Aston Martin V12 Vantage - Car porn.
5.) Ferrari 458 - I'm not sure what it is about this car, but I want to drive it. Really, really badly.

1ST ; Vette zr1 RM
2ND; T. Kaira zzii
3RD; BMW CSL
4RT; Zonda 7.3
5FT; Shelby series 1.

Runner up; GT (no stripe), 86 gt Toyota, R35 TC.

1. FTO Super Touring Car
2. Skyline R33 TC
3. Ferrari 430 Scuderia '07
4. Opera Performance S2000
5. Tommykaira ZZII

Honorable Mention: BMW M3 GTR '03, Ford GT '02 & Toyota FT-86 Concept '09

LMP1 and GT cars. Also some Group C.

Usually:

Audi R8 LMS Team Playstation 09

Jaguar XJR-9

BMW Mclaren F1 GTR

Ferrari 458

Caterham seven fireblade

1> overused for me, NSX Type-R - Super fast in 500-550pp racing, very engaging to drive, even more so on sport hard, never easy to drive perfect, luuuv my tune.
2> s2000 - usually an underdog, have a great tune on it that keeps up with most anything around 500pp - it does take no prisoners, you get cocky it will send you off the track
3> Ferrari 458 - great interior, great noise, and a contender at 600pp
4> BMW CSL - WHY isn't this premium... only complaint, freaking go-cart - a bit to easy to drive though?
5> Mercedes 190E Cosworth - not the fastest car at 488pp max in 500pp rooms, but very fun, engaging car to drive

For 650pp rooms
1>SRT Viper - I hate this car - hate it a lot, really ugly car, but its so stupid fast, I use it. I feel cheap when I do.
2>GTR R35 - the tune I have for this is beastly. Tricky to drive (which I like), stupid fast - have to drive it completely different than RWD cars
3>Amuse S2000 (forget the exact name, the super fast one though) - race car fast. Forgiving but challenging.
4>Aventador - so far, disappointed with the car, but it looks so epic, I use it anyway. Needs help on turn-in - I'll get a tune sorted for it yet.
5>Audi R10 - whats not to like. Drives like a RWD car, saves your butt like an AWD car.

My problem is - online, I kinda want to win - so I stick to the fastest cars (for me anyway)- I feel like I'm in a rut though - need to branch out and try to find cars that are at least close to as fast that I like.

1. Mclaren F1 Stealth Ediiton, its handling is just awesome. I cant describe it. 645pp.
2. Aventador, I love driving it stock.
3. 458 italia, love driving it stock. Great handling.
4. GTR Black Edition, amazing car except its gearshift problem.
5. Golf R, I love it so much that I'm considering getting one IRL.

Y'know I'd have that Legends car in your avatar at #1 if it was in the game :sly:

👍 yup, I would too

thechosenwonton
4>Aventador - so far, disappointed with the car, but it looks so epic, I use it anyway. Needs help on turn-in - I'll get a tune sorted for it yet.

agreed, I'm a little tight in and loose off the corners, if I remember correctly, so fixing entry would solve it, but I'm still not disappointed

RUF RGT-I have 6 but only 3 of them are used regularly, those 3 are ridiculous in the 500pp seasonal

BMW M3 CSL-same story as above

McLaren F1 GTR-a complete monster in the 650pp seasonal

Mercedes-Benz 190e Evo II-I have 3 of these but I only use 1 of them to grind the 400pp seasonal, and it's awesome. I've started looking for one to buy irl

Pagani Zonda LM -or- R -Used in the 650pp seasonal

I've also started tuning random cars for the seasonal races so the list of cars I use is actually quite long but these are the cars I enjoy driving the most

In no particular order...

Aston Martin V12 Vantage
Honda CR-Z TC
Lamborghini Aventador
Alfa Romeo 8c
SLS AMG

Each of them a blast, in their own way
