Round 3: Dragging Along

You were sent to the Test Course to see how quickly your cars could run the 0-1000m test losing 1 point for every second over 25.5.

shotamagee had the slowest car, his Mitsubishi Lancer taking 31.439 seconds for -5 points.
C-ZETA was the next slowest in the Ford Taurus SHO with a time of 28.885 to take -3 points.
SVX was just slightly faster in the Volvo S60 stopping the clock at 28.085 seconds scoring -2 points.
Everybody else ran the standing 1000m within +/- 1 second of the Toms Chaser, so everyone else scores precisely 0 points.

Round 4: Going Places

You were asked to drive to a tuning shop by means of a two lap race at High Speed Ring.

AndersonG22 was the first to arrive at the shop in his Holden Commodore, taking just 2:53.673 and scoring 40 points.
Flynn77 was right behind him in the Lotus Carlton with a total drive time of 2:54.173 for a score of 35 points.
korza493 came in third with the Mazda RX-8 stopping the clock at 2:55.011 for 30 points.
fabmaru brought home his FPV GT next with a journey taking 2:56.891 and a score of 25 points.
Nazzii must have taken a rest stop in his Infinity G35 as a time of 3:02.145 seems a little slow, and scores just 20 points.
shotamagee suffered from having an old banger, his Lancer EX 1800GSR limping to the shop in 3:17.388 for 15 points.
C-ZETA was also suffering in the Ford Taurus. This old boat took a massive 3:19.587 to get there for just 10 points.
BH-21 in the Chrysler 300C and SVX in the Volvo S60 must have broken down somewhere as they have yet to arrive.

Round 5: Bigging 'Em Up

Now it's time to use your remaining funds to improve your car before the drive home.

Score 1 point for every second you shave off your original journey time.

Nitrous and Racing Tyres are not permitted.

You have 24 hours from the time of this post. Good Luck.

With the increased power an LSD would have been useful, but racing at HSR it was easy enough to drive around. (Because the race was at High Speed Ring, I concentrated the tuning primarily on increasing the power).

Does it make a clunking noise when you insert GT4? If you have a slim PS2, try whacking the bottom of the console on a hard surface, not too hard though.

My does the same thing. My PS2 has endured a long, hard 5 years.....

Round 5: Bigging 'Em Up

You were given the opportunity to improve your cars before journeying home, scoring 1 point for every second improvement in your journey time.

Flynn took almost 200kg out of his Lotus Carlton coupled with more power for a journey time of 2:37.691 and 16 points.
AndersonG22 had less money to spend on the Holden, but a better set of tyres helped him achieve a time of 2:44.967 for 8 points.
Shotamagee went with a turbo and a gearbox each worth more than his Lancer as well as many other tweaks. A 2:52.157 scores him a massive 25 points.
C-ZETA went for an all round tune, improving every aspect of his Taurus except for the brakes. A return time of 3:03.360 scoring him 16 points.
fabmaru got so caught up in removing weight from his FPV GT that he forgot to change the oil. A return time of 2:50.243 scores him just 6 points.
Nazzii went with a balanced tune on the Infinity G35 before returning home in just 2:46.878 for a score of 15 points.
korza493 got called away while his Mazda was in the shop, leaving them to improve it as they saw fit. A new time of 2:45.541 scores 9 points.
However a 6 hour delay costs him -1 point for the time delay.

SVX finally arived at the tune shop with his Volvo S60 on the back of a low-loader.
The 3:07.659 drive time coupled with a 39 hour delay were worth 15 points and -9 points respectively.
After spending some money on repairs he posted a 2:58.442 for the return journey scoring 9 points.
However, being 9 hours late he takes another time penalty of -2 points.

BH-21 still hasn't reached the tune shop, so we can only assume he has more important things on his mind and has forgotten about this comparason.

I heard that the suspension of BH-21's 300C has melted as it is made out of cheese.

More like parked due to family business. I've had to cut back drastically on what I do online and how much stuff I particpate in.
