First off GT3 Drifter (ha-ha), not everybody gets access to Top Gear. That means Top Gear might not be available around your area as a result some people have not seen it yet. Why would I put it on this site? Because I can, and not everyone has seen it, just because you have don't mean nada.

Ha-ha! How can I take this guy seriously when his avatar is of "The Fast and Furious", and his immature additude. He also can't spelled "annoy" correctly.

Sorry dude, depart back to your drifter forum now.

exactomundo. :) I dont even have cable. i just have a cable modem.... IM GETTING A DRIVING FORCE PRO SATURDAY!!!! and uh... i'd rather just have the 320BHP Evo 8MR

Thats a cool video, thanks Rollazn. 👍 Thats the second time in half an hour I've said that, it just shows how much you contribute to the Videos part of GTP. If I download Top Gear or 5th Gear videos I get them months or even years before I get to see them on TV in NZ so if you have any more cool clips from recent shows.....

 Saw that video two days ago, on another site. Its awesome, how capable the FQ400 is. I find it amazing how he can do 1 finger drifts!

I find it amazing how effortlessly (apparently) he keeps up with the Lamborghini..

Well when a stock lancer gets to lancer in around the low 5 second range and have 4wd, adding 200+ more horsepower kinda hints in supercar range acceleration. its also quite light.:)

They've only addded 120 ;)

It amazes me how Jeremy Clarkson managed to keep up. He's an awful driver yet the FQ400 still helped him along. But remember, the Lamborghini spun, he didn't pass it.

Meh, I also wasn't impressed when he was moaning about the turbo lag. Well of course it's going to lag if you try to accelerate from a standstill in the highest gear.

Downloading as I type.. :D

The Pro-Import drag racer that I work for/with at work has, as a weekend drive, an Evo 7 with 411hp @ the wheels and much more to come. He wants to break the 500hp mark. It would be awesome to get a ride in it one day :D

 That was true. Clarkson still kept up with the Lamborghini though. He isn't that great of a driver. If it was Tiff... :)

He isn't that great of a driver

And for all the people that worship him and his driving, even he said he was a journalist not a car driver. All I ever see him do is power-oversteer into a burnout 180° spin; that or floor it on a straight motorway.

The program is good, but I'd rather make my own evaluation on the car rather than take their analysis.

Yep, we all knew it would lag like a b*tch but you have to admit it was hilarious seeing a 400hp monster capable of challenging a Murcielago lose in a race to a crappy 1.something liter econobox!

And I bet the touring car driver only had a couple laps of warmup in the Murcielago, while Clarkson already had a few hours under his belt driving the car. Not only that, but Clarkson knows the Top Gear track very well, while it was probably the touring car driver's first outing there (unless he had been on before; I know there have been other BTCC drivers on Top Gear).

And even if you think the Murcielago vs. Evo race was staged completely, the lap board shows that these cars are very close. The Evo was behind the Murcielago by 1.1 seconds, and keep in mind the Evo's lap was conducted on a damp track. Even so, the FQ400 is still able to outpace some real heavyweights according to the lap board, such as the Noble M12 and the Lamborghini Gallardo.

And this week's episode was also great. An Evo FQ-340 took on a 1983 Audi Quattro rally car as a part of a test which pitted yesterday's legendary racers vs. their showroom counterparts. Top Gear has had some amazing episodes this season.

If JC defines awful - I would love to be at that point....

yet the FQ400 still helped him along. But remember, the Lamborghini spun, he didn't pass it.
He had plenty chances, but didn't want to pass him. He'd rather push the Lamborghini driver into making a mistake....

Meh, I also wasn't impressed when he was moaning about the turbo lag. Well of course it's going to lag if you try to accelerate from a standstill in the highest gear.
****.. Our Saxo would've beaten that... So it's got Turbo Lag - So what. You don't buy a special to pick up groceries and to get stuck in morning trafic...

If you're going to race someone are you really going to drop it into 5th and floor it only to catch up to the winner a little later on and say '....turbo lag, y0' ? I don't think so, you've got 5 gears to pick from so pick the gear that drops you right into the powerband with full boost - easy.

6.. The Evo has 6 gears.....

I've watched this episode when it was air on BBC2 :sly:
You have to remember JC has very little respect for Japanese cars and will pick up little nags when it comes to reviewing them hence his stupid criticism about turbo lag and hard suspension. :grumpy:

JC hates everything that isn't British, German, or Italian. For him to like an American or Japanese car is really impressive.

Spot on,

This is why I like 5th gear better.

There is worse. A guy in a program calle "Mera Motor" ("More Engine" :odd: ) couldn't pass a cone test in 65 km/h with a Porsche 911. And he also evaluated the SAFETY of a Ferrari F430, and complained about "the cheap carbon fibre" in the coupé. Now that's bad.

I like the part with the milk jug where he says " the British engineers at Mitsubishi have managed to extract 400 horsepower out of something smaller than this."

I may not know what I'm talking about but unless FQ is a tuner based in brittan those engineers are japanese buddy. Please correct me however if that is not the case.
