To be honest, in my opinion the whole track has been compromised by the way PD have produced it.
Cones everywhere, invisible track limitations, and worst of all, a painted start/ finish line that bears no resemblance to where the timer starts or stops.
Gambon corner has no "bump" on the inside to launch the car, which was the sole reason for it getting the name in the first place. It should also be possible to run it in the two configurations used in the show, Regular and Short Circuit.
Also, given that the grass on the outside of the circuit is not going to give you any speed advantage, as far as legitimate lap times are concerned, I honestly don't see the point of rendering it and then being restricted as to how far off you can slide backwards in a hail of white smoke and panic. Certainly a limit should be imposed, but not the the approximate 2 or 3 feet that has been implemented!
Woefully bad, especially the start line, meaning that you cannot actually record an accurate standing lap time, as per most people's expectations of the track, given it's most well known use in the shows.
(There's also a timing glitch, which means you can record a lap time of under 35 seconds without even completing half a lap, no Redbulls required. Shocking!)
Edit - Regarding the track paint, it would only be hazardously slippery if PD has also added the typical British weather to it, as when it's dry you'll be fine to run over it. However, show it some water,,, and we're into a whole different ballgame!
