The almighty RUF is reborn into the new world of GT6. This time the car is weighing in at 75kg less than before and the engine has been detuned to around 420 BHP. But it is still more fun to drive than ever. We've also installed a new racing brake Kit which will bring you to a stop at the blink of an eyelid! This car is still insanely quick and Is more than capable of a sub 7minute lap around the Nurbergring!

Just done a quick tune and put down a couple laps on the ring offline. I think the car handles great like this but no doubt there is room for improvements.

I managed to get the same gear ratios as before but the LSD and suspension settings just didn't work. Anyway let me know what you think and I will do some more work on it tomorrow, cheers!

This car is tuned to the SCCA Spec Miata Specs in the FITT Miata Tuner Challenge. This is a great little car with tons of grip with neutral handling characteristics. Its very easy to drive which is good for beginners.

A little looser than backnfourth's, but once you figure out your throttle control, good car.

Another car I enjoyed a lot-a bit too much lift-off oversteer.

This is a fun one to drive. Stable and fast in the corners, if I got the entry right it was glued to the track through the turn, on the flip side it did have a tendency to power oversteer and had some BLOR issues. It was not as easy to get out of a slide when they happened but the car didn’t want to slide so thet were rare. It didn’t feel as fast as some of the tunes but the time speaks for itself, it was quick around the track.

RUF 3400S '00 Thank you for the quick turn around time. I just spent some time with this car at Deep Forest. I also brought along a few other 3400S to compare to. Good news is your tune set the fastest lap at 1:17.855. Your tune has great high speed stability with very little understeer as compared to the others. The slower turns need your full concentration to get the entry speed correct. Your car is more of a drivers car needing all your attention. A very good ride. I agree with a little more work the times will drop some, not alot, but will still drop.
So now i have your car which is the fastest lap, yet one other car had slower lap time, 1: 18.330, but was more consistent with overall lap times.

So do I choose the wilder heart pounding red head or do I settle with the great cook yet tame brunette ? Since they both live in different city's why not keep them both and depending on my hunger decide which one to visit.

Thanks again for all you do. Look forward to your adjustments on your other cars.

Just gonna let you know the note's on the Civic are from your RUF tune.;) I'll be trying some of these out when I'm able to get back around the PS3.

@TJisA1337NOOB The new civic settings have been posted. The car is an absolute dream to drive. Only been tested at Nurburgring mind, so would recommend trying it there!

Anybody tried the latest cars?
I got a new 500pp skyline almost finished, again it is a good car for online lobby's.

What sort of tunes would you guys like to see? If there isn't that much interest for Nurburgring tunes I will do some for other tracks.

Hello Jack , thanks for your job only recently discovered. Nurburg is not usual for me , too hard and long track. My favourite tracks are : High speed ring , Trial Mountain , Deep Forest , Apricot hill , Gran Valley and so on. I remember in GT5 the Ford GT w/o stripes very fast and easy to handle. Can you tune the similar car Ford GT in GT6 ? at 550pp and 600.

I'll try your skyline in the evening but the 500pp is a very competitive class online with better pilots than me.In addition my wheel isn't at the top : Thrustmaster Ferrari 430 cockpit bought only for his confort but not " a knife" on road.....

Thanks in advance

Massimo

I will have a look tonight when I get back in, I think the Ford GT is quite expensive though, at the moment I only have around 100k credits so I will have to do some grinding. But that car is on my to-do list anyway so I will make sure it is te next one I look at.

Thanks Jack for your fast reply. When I need some money I perform in IA "like the wind" with a "beast" : Pescarolo Judd LM car. with the bonus od 200% for access online I gain about 140.000 credits /win in 3 minutes. Not bad....

Bye

@MAXXI Ive tuned the Ford GT '06 on sports soft tyres at 600PP. I can't believe how much that car understeers with the stock settings, but I guess its down to the huge width of the rear tyres. Anyway Ive got it handling pretty good now but would like you to choose a track for the car so I can do some fine-tuning. I've only tuned it in offline mode so far as well so need to know if you want it for online too.

Thanks Jack , really the stock version is difficult to drive .Yes , I agree to have your online tuning ; I race every night on online rooms :)
Thanks

This is an excellent front driver. I've only done an incomplete trial run at the Nord and a few laps of Trial Mountain so far, but I found great turn-in and grip through the corner as long as you don't hit the gas too early. Very smooth actually and less 'bounciness' than you can often get with firmed up lighter cars.

Gearing is obviously right for the Nordshleife, though at Trial Mountain I didn't change the FD so the car wasn't optimum but was still in the running for the fastest 450pp entries.

I think its only minus point would be giving away a few mph against the fastest 450 pp cars on the Dottingher. I'll hopefully try it out online and see how I fair! Good Work 👍

Very nice photo and data sheet , clear and exaustive. I'll buy this car , I need a competitive 500 pp online
Thanks jack

massimo
Thanks! You just introduced me to a new word and I like the definition

I hope the car works well for you, I know this car can be difficult to drive for some. At first when I was using it last night it was I was constantly spinning out. Hopefully it is tuned well and it wasn't just me getting used to the cars characteristics from driving it so much.

Also, I will try to finish of the Ford GT either tonight or tomorrow. 👍

Maybe I could join you for some 600PP racing one evening?

Which tyres do you use also? At the moment I have been using sports soft but I can't find any online lobbies using that tyre.

Thanks for your job . The ford GT in my garage is the model '05 and generally I prefer the use of race tyres , hard or medium for road car. The other tuner Praiano doesn 't like the race tyres on road cars and generally is true . The car begins to be instable and is difficult to set the LSD to other confortable values. In GT5 was different , race tyres worked very well.

I upload my real car

Bye
Massimo
