What speed can you reach in the x1 or another car using the adjustable ratios?

You can hit 500+km/h with a slipstream, although it usually maxes out at 480 with minimum downforce.

You could set the ratio to do so, now that you can adjust the final gear ratio.

In a one make race I got my X2010 up to 335mph in a draft. Unfortunately the AI groups together on the back straight at La Sarthe and I ended up piling into the back of them before I could go any faster.

I do this all the time when trying for a top speed. It wouldn't be so funny if a) I could damage the car, and/or b) there was a chance I could lose a race after crashing the X2010

I just laugh at the damage now, you can't really do anything else. Crash at 30mph, you'll hear a thud and nothing will happen. Crash at 300mph, you'll hear a thud and nothing happen.
