I've seen a few Holden Commies running around London for a few years now. Every time I see one I get mad, mainly because our equivalent company is Vauxhall, the only way they can make a good car is to get someone else to help them (VX220, is on Lotus underpinnings, Lotus Carlton well is tuned by Lotus and well that new Monaro isn't exactly designed by Vauxhall either).

Anyway I have a feeling that the Holden Astra, Vectra and Barina will be in the game under Holden for the Australian PAL release but under Opel and Vauxhall for the US and UK as Corsa, Vectra and Astra's. I also have a feeling that they will include a V8 Supercar commodore seeing as the Falcon was in GT3.

Oops I seem to of gone overboard with my list, but I am a big Holden fan so I love em all. Maybe a seperate game dedicated to only Holdens could be made in conjunction with PD and Holden. I can dream I spose.

Just name every holden there is mate!

I second this list Only i must say i preffer the VX front end/grile. The newer VY's arent as nice nor as flash. And the monaro's dont seem to be as flash for the price really. But nice cars of course.

PS. I have a 2002 VX SS Series II - Gen3 V8. And yes.. it sounds bloody good (260HP at the back wheeles as standard - i put it on the dyno). If anyone wants a short clip of me doing a skid pan time course (i got 2nd place trophy.. first time entry) lemmie knwo and i'll encode and send.

I have a 1998 Holden Combo(4cyl, 1.3litre engine) which makes about 50BHP, front wheel drive pwr

Looking back to the list, lets change the SS to the VX SS, much nicer rear end to the VY's, gotta admit ive fallen inlove with the VY's front end though

Yes, the VK's are quite arousing cars . The VY is also quite an arousing car, you just can't see it yet

I wouldn't say I like the VY series, I would say I don't dislike them as much as I used to.
I think HSV have lost the plot. Too many non functional plastic parts. Whats with the stupid triangle section hanging from the rear spoiler on the four door GTS. The last decent looking four door car HSV built in my opinion is the VT II GTS, the first of the 300kw motors. The GTS and GTO coupe look like mighty fine cars though.

The commodores arn't taxis. The ford AU's on the other hand..well...speaks for it's self really
