For all the high hp FWD car fanatics here!!! what cars do you own/driven/or been driven in that are notorious torque steer monsters....

For being a 2600lb car with 210ft/lb of torque, the MINI does a great job of keeping torque steer at bay.

I had a 2002 Altima 3.5 5 speed, that was pretty nasty.

The Integra GSR I had was weak, and had none.

Ill go fist.......coming from a family of Saabs torque steer is daily life.... our 9-5 Aero almost ripped my arms clean off (I was hooning coming out of a turn) and then there is the Viggen......................

You've heard the horror stories about them......and yes they ARE true

Now i consider my father a pseudo god at driving.... 20+ years, ZERO accidents, with the infrequent Lewis Hamilton on the highways.... but god does that thing bite even with ExtremeContact™ DWS Conties, it literally launched the two of us across the street.... that thing made a BIG impression on me seeing as i'll be driving that car soon

Drove an Cadillac Eldorado with a Northstar once. That was my first experience with torque steer. My dad's Riviera with the supercharged 3800 has a pretty fair amount of it as well.

Maybe not a monster, but definitely a surprise to feel the wheel pull.

It's got 240hp and 242ft/lb of torque. I wonder how this thing would do in a drag race with a Civic or a lower end BMW...

Oldsmobile Toronado!

Did not have torque steer. Oldsmobile spent nearly a decade and heaven knows how much money engineering the drivetrain on it. I've driven a '67. You stomp on it and the wheel stays dead straight.



It was only after they turned it basically into a Oldsmobile version of the Cadillac Eldorado after 1971 that it became a problem, but no one talks about those anyways.

2011 Dodge Avenger V6. 283hp/decent torques. Stomp on the pedal and merge into the next lane if you don't correct it.

My supercharged Grand Pix was not bad in stock form.

After a few engine mods and a messed up torque converter that locks up earlier that its supposed to, now the car has pretty wicked torque steer.

My old 2002 Chrysler 300M Special had some torque steer. It was really bad in the wet.

Hammer any Lexus RX 330/350 or ES 300/330/350 and don't be surprised. Don't, and you won't...so I never had a customer complaint about that. Not that I ever did that in any loaner car in which I might have been in a hurry to drive or abuse while working for said company, while the yelling and wailing was still fresh in my ears. Not never, ever.
