Hey guys, today was a bit of tough day for me, but let me explain.

My uncle had to have open heart surgery and have 4 bypasses. During this time, I was at the hospital from 11:30AM to 9:20PM. The doctor told us there is still work to be done.

On Sat., my friend Jason got into a car accident I could have been in. Well, he was at the same hospital in Baylor.

Unforunately, today he was not there, and now the lot of us are worried. We think he's been moved to a new hospital, but is that possible under a coma?

Anyways, we're pulling for both of them.

Oh, man. That's a shame. My thoughts are with both of them (and you, I can't begin to imagine the stress). Hope everything turns out ok.

Hospitals suck. One thing I appreciate a lot more than others is good health.

In April 2004, my mother just got out of the hospital agfter being in the neuroligocal ward for a month from a freak stroke, and the same day my dad got layed off. That sucked, especially for a 15 yearold kid.

You'll get through it, and in the end you will probably have learned a lot about yourself, which is a good thing.

You and your family are in my thoughts dude.

I hope that your friend and your Uncle come out okay.

You'll will be in my thoughts.

An update.

My uncle made it through very well, and is recoverying very fast. He should go home Saturday. Amazingly, he was only in ICU for about 12 hours.
Tomorrow, they'll want him to get out of bed, and take the tubes out of him and make sure he can take care of himself.

As for Jason, he was transferred to Parkland Hospital, however, he has not "fully" awoken yet. Doctors told us he showed signs of life by moving and opening his eyes, however, he would not make any responses of any kind when talked to.
His Mazda is also gone. Though it seemed like a small accident, (sideswept in the back right side), the doctor had told his family that he found head wounds most likely caused from hitting the window.
