Well, since the Veyron isn't a concept they could've potentially tested a real model. So sadly for Bugatti they couldn't make up the performance of it.

But who knows how they arrive at the performance of each car or what drives the physics engine. I don't think they've tested each car as rigorously as the next, might dedicate a different post to my theories on that. I do like the way the Veyron handles though, feels like a barge the first time you're in it but it's surprisingly driveable once you get to know it, but yeah, bit like a phone booth with hyper drive ;)

The front of this car looks so stupid. The rest is gorgeous.
 
It seems my preference is quite different from most. I like the front, not the rear. :D

And the 'side ports' seem unnecessarily large as it's an FR. I doubt it's configured as LFA with radiators at the tail which need air flow inlet near the B-pillar. And the 'air outlets' (or something like that, above exhaust) at sides of tail of FT-1 are also nothing like those on LFA. If they're for brake cooling, it's unnecessarily large, sorry. I just don't like anything on car that is not properly functional.

Very capable and well-behaved handling in the game, though. Wins 15min (Ascari) and Rain Master (Spa) easily. It'd be much more enjoyable if the exhaust note got more 'growl':cool:
 
Hi guys. I´ve drove this "thing" for about an hour on the Laguna Seca Seasonal. I truly hate it.

Massive understeer (sport my a**), no feedback at all... there´s nothing good here.

And the front ... oh god, why does it have to be so ugly?

They just had to make a hyper Supra... not this...

Sounds like my supra, really close to it.

Makes me think PD has been told ill be I6 when they build it and told 450/500hp numbers and given MKIV was 3400lbs and Frs 2750ish id guess 3000/3200lbs.

Why is it so hard to believe that the teaser shows a C7, just like the actual cover?

Adjust your driving style and the problem is solved.
If you plow into a corner of course it will understeer right off the tarmac.

I learned that the hard way back in my GT5 days. Thought every car had to handle like it was on Racing Softs and could slide into the corner or something.

Ever since I had a wheel I found it easier to adapt to each car but it an be done with a controller too.
 
If anyone is interested, we have an FT-1 Spec League starting soon at [PRL] Precision Racing League. Friday at 8pm GMT.
 
What I like about this, is if it becomes the done thing when a new interesting car is released. Manufacturers used to just have print as a media for letting people know about new products, then video, then social media campaigns, now they can give people 'virtual' experience too. If it becomes the normal thing to be done it would be great. Not to think of a game as a one off opportunity to get your cars featured, but to also be a part of the 'virtual press-release' whenever there is something new.

My Dad who knows some "Toyota Reps" said it is confirmed there will be a production model of the FT-1. The name for it is not yet known, but most likely it will be called the Supra (Mark V). He also said that the body design is pretty much final. They might alter some dimensions and tone down the dramatic show car look a bit, but that's about it.

For power there are two choices

Most likely it will be brand new successor to the Toyota 2JZ-GTE (the engine that was in the Mark IV Supra RZ), which was a Twin Turbocharged Inline-6.

It's highly unlikely but they could also use a varient of the Toyota 3UR-FE (The 5.7 liter V-8 used in the 2014 Tundra). They would probably strap a TRD Supercharger on to that.

It´s ok. I won´t talk about "how good or bad I drive", but I´m not trashing the car. I´m using a DFGT and trying to be very careful. Only ABS-1 because the brake pedal of the DFGT is awful, and this car has quite "on-off" brakes. And I insist, it´s not a good car at all.

I really want to see some "hot lap" on LagunaSeca of some of the Aliens here to show me how to drive this "car" WITHOUT AIDS...
 
I really can't see what anybody's problem with the FT1 is, I love it, it can be a bit of a handfull but once you've learned to balance the throttle and wrestle with the wheel a bit it's a really fun car to drive using no aids apart from abs1, setting the BB to F6, R4 also imroves the braking. (using DFGT). I've just earned the 'david and goliath' trophy with it :D

Doubt the Production version won't have a few significant changes to the FT-1 (I think we will get another concept first).

Inline-6 sounds about right (if we don't get a hybrid), any news on the Tranny?

Considering the new Toyota/BMW partnership, chances are it's the same motor as the new M3/M4.
