What's up with the clear hood showing the engine? Is like the new style or something? Not saying that I dislike, just wondering.

So you're saying there's a chance at a V12 conversion?
Maybe :odd: :odd:
I also heard it was a hybrid. :odd: x10

These things I heard are all most likely untrue like usual

I'm like 84% sure in a couple videos I watched, it was both clear and blacked out.

Edit- I'm wrong. It was just a reflection.

Anyone know the specs or any guesses? Maybe 320 HP, 2900 LB?
I'd say closer to LFA specs power wise and closer to the GT-R weight wise.
I also doubt they'll actually show us the weight/power in GT6.

Just watched again...I saw 184 MPH and it was going up fast. Damn, maybe this does have 450HP like the M4...

Most likely it has I6 twinturbo derived from the BMW N-series. Weight wise, since it seems to be larger than the GT86, I wouldn't be surprised if it's around 3200-3500lbs. Since it seems that the motor is as far back, I'd wager that it also has transaxle in the back, hence the large intakes in front of rear wheels, which also means near 50/50 weight distribution.

I say high rev V8 (probably turbo) with somewhere around the 500HP+ range.

Colors-
Red, Orange, Yellow, Dark blue Metallic, Mint gray, White, Bright Silver, Gray Metallic, Black.
Jist of Car Info:
Length- 4675 MM
width- 1970 mm
height- 1225 mm
"The specifications for this car are a fictitious set created specifically for Gran Turismo 6"

I hate it when they don't put in all the specs on info page. Seems lazy to me

A lap around Bathurst in the FT-1 Concept

Night on Aprciot Hill in the Toyota FT-1

The PP says it probably has much more.

Specs they don't have for a car that isn't finalized.

RS, stability control AND traction control? Seriously..

Such a awesome car! I'm literally in love with it, and it was really enjoyable to drive in. I also like its sound as well. 👍 I even have it in my favorites list with the Acura NSX Concept, Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray, SRT Viper GTS, Nissan GT-R Black Edition and BMW M4. I marked these cars its rivals, and will be doing test runs on Goodwood's Hillclimb. Gonna be a blast. :D

Oh, and even the Lamborghini Aventador will want a piece of the FT-1 at the hillclimb, can't wait for the tests! :)

Or maybe I should test the FT-1 and all those cars at Ascari instead, since its the best test track in the game yet!

The FT1 weighs between 1320kg and 1330kg
The FT1 has between 483 and 493 HP

Verified by Performance Filters

493 HP confirmed brand new.

You can check HP by setting it to favorites and choosing from favorites via arcade mode.

That's its literal top speed. It's quick though, just barely beating the LFA NP to 150 mph before losing steam.

Correct 493hp new, 518 w/oil change

This car has 544 PP, so it definitely beats the Stingray as far as performance goes. That was my first impression while racing in the Seasonal. Toyota really did build a Corvette competitor. I'm thinking the engine is either a BMW-collaborated I6 twin turbo or a V6 twin turbo not unlike the GTR engine. Definitely sounds like a six cyinder. Twitchy as hell on the corner exit too. I find fitting Sports Softs or turning on SFR helps alleviate the loose handling. I wish so badly that the game would allow me to tweak the LSD. The Accel setting can definitely come down.

How can they include it in the game if no technical specifications exist for it? I thought it was just a styling vision exercise...

I like it. Similar greenhouse to the FT86. THAT went into production. Maybe we'll see about 5 more variations until the production model. Would make a lover-ly GT3/GTE/SUPER GT race car. May even get to see it in Fast and Furious 20.

When I first saw the front of it, my first thought went towards the Panoz GT racer thats a couple of years old. Just tried it in the seasonals, and its a mighty tail happy car, I felt like I was in a GT86 with a more powerful engine really.

A quick edit:

The Car settings is not listing any BHP or weight figure, and no upgrades are avalible. The only vauge info of how much it might weigh is that when I ballast it with 200 kg of weight, it needs a +3 setting to get to 50:50 WD, and -7 for 52:48 (as it is 51:49 stock). Not really a lot to go on, but its something at least.
