<div class="bbWrapper"><span style="color: DarkRed">I got sad when I saw Hybrid. I&#039;m a great supporter of the hybrid technology, especially when it&#039;s used to boost a cars performance, but I don&#039;t really like it in this case.<br /> <br /> It seems it&#039;ll jack the price up considerably, plus I liked the Supra as a petrol car. I like how they&#039;re trying to go green, and hybrid technology really is astounding when used right, but I don&#039;t think they should call it the Supra, unless it&#039;s a petrol car like the original. Maybe make two versions? Please?</span></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">This is dumb. Just make something between a Gen Coupe and a Mustang in size and make it turbo and really fast. Supra should be as fast as a GTR in a straight line but without the techno-wizardry.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I agree with Schwartz, it look&#039;s alot like a concept of the GT-86. That car was made in 2007 though so I&#039;m sure (hope) the final version will look a bit better. As it stand&#039;s though the current GT-86 look&#039;s more like a Supra than what we are being left to believe the new Supra will look like.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">If they do indeed make a new Supra, I would almost bet it would be based on this car though...</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Why does everyone hate the LF-A? I think it&#039;s a beautiful design, just because every single piece of the body serves a purpose, and because it&#039;s probably one of the most well engineered supercars out there at the moment.<br /> <br /> I think the image above looks like a horrible version of the LF-A.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Looks like a baby LF-A. If it does become a new Supra, then only a Turbo straight six will do. Though I have a feeling they&#039;ll stick in a V8.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I think the Inline-6 is on it&#039;s way out, sadly. Who all uses them anymore? BMW right now, but they&#039;re slowly switching to V6 engines...</div>

<div class="bbWrapper"><blockquote data-attributes="" data-quote="Bram Turismo" data-source="post: 6379904" class="bbCodeBlock bbCodeBlock--expandable bbCodeBlock--quote js-expandWatch"> <div class="bbCodeBlock-title"> <a href="/forum/goto/post?id=6379904" class="bbCodeBlock-sourceJump" rel="nofollow" data-xf-click="attribution" data-content-selector="#post-6379904">Bram Turismo</a> </div> <div class="bbCodeBlock-content"> <div class="bbCodeBlock-expandContent js-expandContent "> Why does everyone hate the LF-A? </div> <div class="bbCodeBlock-expandLink js-expandLink"><a role="button" tabindex="0">Click to expand...</a></div> </div> </blockquote><br /> It&#039;s a divisive car. I&#039;m not at all keen because there are far too many odd details scattered haphazardly about the car, and it&#039;s poorly proportioned - very slab-sided, the back end is like a bus and the glasshouse looks too small compared with the rest of the vehicle.<br /> <br /> It&#039;s undoubtedly an impressively-engineered machine but visually it&#039;s one of the least resolved cars on the road.<br /> <br /> That red Lexus/Toyota above looks like an LF-A stripped of all the ridiculous detailing and given more pleasing proportions.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I think if they made a new supra its should like the old one. But with updated tech.<br /> Look at this car porn...<br /> <div class="bbImageWrapper js-lbImage" title="picture.php" data-src="/forum/proxy.php?image=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nfscars.net%2Fforum%2Fpicture.php%3Falbumid%3D9%26pictureid%3D699&amp;hash=b33c7a23f75d93ea6c4df9884c2ead3c" data-type="image" data-lb-sidebar-href="" data-lb-caption-extra-html="" data-single-image="1" > <img src="/forum/proxy.php?image=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nfscars.net%2Fforum%2Fpicture.php%3Falbumid%3D9%26pictureid%3D699&amp;hash=b33c7a23f75d93ea6c4df9884c2ead3c" data-url="http://www.nfscars.net/forum/picture.php?albumid=9&amp;pictureid=699" class="bbImage" data-zoom-target="1" style="" alt="picture.php" title="" width="" height="" loading="lazy" /> </div></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">The new Supra has to be turbo charged. Screw large V8s and what not, it has to be turbo charged. Or at least make two models, one turbo and one N/A.<br /> <br /> Just like how Nissan stuck to the turbo route for the GT-R, Toyota should do the same.<br /> <br /> Besides, aren&#039;t forced induced, small engines the current trend for car makers to lower the carbon emissions?</div>

That car was one of the most beautiful cars of it&#039;s time, still is. It doesn&#039;t look like a design made 16 years ago either, so it could work. Problem is, people may buy it, but Toyota won&#039;t make it. They&#039;re going to change the styling up completely. I hardly doubt they&#039;ll include any styling cues from the old one.
