I managed to get a 8:34 time for in the stock toyota supra turbo A. 240hp

I was wondering if this was a good time for running this track this fast.

If you like running the 'Ring in 'mildly tuned' cars, check out the RTST Trials.

It'd be good to have some new names on the board. 👍

i dont know exactly which model the supra turbo A is, but i do know its one of the boxy cars before the evolution of the mark V. having that said its typically slow, 240hp like you said, I'd never drive these things...

Historic used car lot. It's an '88 model that in real-life was made in limited numbers that were all black to get the racing version legal for Group A touring class events. I know all this cuz i just drove a Turbo A this weekend. It understeers alot! not something i've seen with Supras in previous GT games.

That being said, im definitely not sitting in it, thanks man

That's what really surprised me. I'd brake early, turn in, and the Turbo A would still start to understeer....zero throttle.......not something remember in GT1 or 2 at all....but it's still an awesome car, i wouldn't ignore it entirely.

Really?

I never noticed a lot of understeer. Are you driving with aids on or off?

I managed to pull an 8:32.208 today in the Supra Turbo A.
Stock w/ oil change, all AIDS off. And it was a pretty clean lap. I touched the grass a couple times. I'm sure if I could have dropped it by a couple seconds if I would have had a cleaner lap.

edit:
I also ran my '87 Nissan Skyline GTS-R and pulled a similar time. (8:32.123)
Stock w/ oil change, all AIDS off.

I don't mean to rain on this (parade) thread, but there's many threads about Nurburgring times, dedicated to all cars, not just one.

I'd suggest you submit your times to the Nurburgring Challenge (you can even run said Supra on N2s, S2s); or even better, have a go at the RTST trials mentioned by Jay a bit upwards.

Links to both these threads mentioned are in my sig.
