This four event series of flat out sprint races will take you and your adorable box of a Renault around the world to battle on short tracks of all kinds for supremacy, bragging rights and the coveted title of... International Worldwide Champion Pretend Renault 8 Gordini Driver of the World!

Lobbies will open between 9:30PM and 10:00PM British time.

Round 1 - Italy (6th May)

  3. Maggiore West End
Round 2 - USA (20th May)
  1. Streets of Willow Springs
  2. Colorado Springs (Dirt)
  3. Grand Valley Highway South
Round 3 - Japan (29th July)
  1. Autopolis Short Course
  2. Tsukuba Circuit (Wet)
  3. Kyoto Driving Park - Miyabi
Round 4 - Almost France (5th August)
  1. Nordschleife (Double Length)
  2. Catalunya RX

Each event (except round 4) will consist of 3 20 minute races. Points will be awarded based on finishing position for each race. (See The Rules for point distribution)

There will be a 5 minute qualifying session to determine the grid for the first race of each event. The second race's grid will be the results of the first race. The third race's grid will be the reverse of the results of the second race.

For the fourth round, the grid for the Nordschleife will be set by championship position, and the second race will be a reverse of the finishing order.

Each event will feature around an hour of driving, with the aim under smooth running for the whole event to take around an hour and a half.

Time rate - x3 (Except Tsukuba, equal conditions)

Side Contact Penalty: Off
Assists: Counter-steering Assistance, ASM, and Auto-Drive prohibited

Scoring Distribution (1st-16th): 25, 18, 15, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

General Rules: Race with respect but contact will not be penalised outside of extreme cases. Race hard and have fun.

Sorry to anyone I lag bumped in the first few laps of the last race, it was a mess, I couldn’t tell where my or anyone else’s car actually were. @Redneckchef was the only one I actually made contact with on my screen.

No worries mate lag was a test tonight for most of us I think.

Just wanted to say another big thanks to all who turned up for round one, some great racing and laughs.

I will update you all with the thrilling point standings tomorrow but with a triple win in hand it is safe to crown @GOTMAXPOWER as Italian Champion with a dominant display including overtaking the whole field in a lap and change in race 3.

It's all good. Nothing most of us can do to affect the lag. And you waitied so I knew you weren't trying anything. It was a good race meet all around. Fun car to play with.
 
24 hour-ish heads up for tomorrow gents, with starry eyes and a bag full of onions we make our way across the Atlantic for the American championship, I want all drivers conspiring to cause @GOTMAXPOWER as big a headache as possible and if we all avoid getting swept again let's call it a win for all of us!

I'm not in the best of health so hosting duties may be passed off to one of my willing volunteers. I may reduce the length of the races by ~5 minutes for the same reason.

Numbers seem a bit low. If we end up with a baby grid (<8) as I suspect we may, I will just run the one race at wet Tsukuba, and we'll see where we are at after that, as 3 15 minute races with such a small grid doesn't really promise much action.
