"Track Showdown!" is a series in which I will put two tracks against each other and the community votes what track they prefer the most. This will determine what the GTP community thinks is the best track in Gran Turismo 5 (DLC Tracks included).
For the first round, I will be pitting what I think are the two most popular and liked tracks in the game: Nurburgring and Spa-Francorchamps.
Nurburgring -
The Nurburgring Nordschliefe first appeared in GT4, while the other variations first appeared in GT5. This course has held a wide variety of races over time, and became notorious for it's challenge. Located in Nurburg, Germany, this track is known to both drivers and race fans alike.
Spa-Francorchamps
Located in Spa, Belgium, this track holds the annual Belgian Grand Prix. This track first arrived in GT5 as DLC, released just before GT5's 1 year anniversary. The most requested track for the Gran Turismo series, this track has a large fanbase around the world.
If requested, I will narrow down the options after every round like a knockout. The last track remaining will be crowned GTP's most popular track.
I know it sounds stupid, but let's do this just for kicks.
