I never said it was an FF car . Go back and read my post again. However, it may have been unclear. I should've separated the first sentence of that paragraph from the rest (I'll go back and fix it for you to help you better understand it).

I said what a lack of an LSD will do to a RWD car, and then said it affects a FWD car as well. Then I listed some example of various cars that don't or didn't have LSDs that do or will soon (SRT-4 and MINIs now have them - the MINI's is an option, Elises will most likely have them by next model year).

I'm currently selling Elises as an occupation, so believe me, I tend to know my way around them. Not even trying to be nice, eh?

The original post was very unclear, you talked about front wheel drive cars, then list three cars, two of which are front wheel drive. The newly edited post is now clear.

As for not trying to be nice; I was not trying to be anything, pointed out a percieved error, with a short, but hardly offensive post.

No offence was meant, so please don't take it as such.

brake balance is not the same thing as ABS. brake balance controls the amount of hydraulic force applied to the front or rear pads. ABS is the car's computer detecting lockup and then pulsing the brakes at 60 times a second or whatever so that the car is controllable.

If you took the time to read the description of the "Brake Balance" controller in GT3, you might be suprised to find it telling you that it is actually controlling ABS. Try this little test. Turn front and rear down to nothing. Notice the wheels locking up on your car at about 25. So when we get down to brass tacs, you cannot actually control the braking balance of your car, it is a fixed setting. If you would like to contest, ask in the hybriding forum, or download of copy of MKS and look at the different brakes you can apply to a given car.

As for Power Steering, a light car will have trouble tracking a line for lack of steering feeling.
LSDs are reallllly great. I had a pickup for a while with an open diff, and it was a pain; it was kinda tough to good drifts in
