Great racing all round fellas. Lots of position changes and definitely some competitive times being put down. Under a second fastest to slowest on softs is pretty impressive.

Great racing to boy wonder who managed to run well. Top job mate.
 
Top job guys had a shocker in first race, then kept my head for the second one. finally kept it clean for the first few corners and got a brake whoop. points are in a pdf file on first page

after my actions on the weekend, and taking out my good mate Luke through sheer stupidity, I have decided to stand down from the series. I know rage and the boys will continue running this league in the great spirit it has always had and can not thank you all enough for making my Sundays so much brighter for the last year. will catch you all on track and never forget our motto. FRIENDSHIP THROUGH COMPETITION. thanks Tim
 
Had two great races on Sunday. Was a battle of wills between myself, Emu and Clint for both of them with Clint showing his great consistency in Race 1 to get the win. For a while there Emu and I attempted to work together to reel him in with bump drafting and not tripping each other up each corner, didn't seem to be too effective though looking at the lap times you are better off running on your own.

My arch nemesis the final corner reared its head a few times, this is the most crucial corner to get right at Rome as it dictates your speed down the front straight. Anyone wanting to see how wrong you can get it can view me on lap 24 on both races at the last corner. Both times I was working up for a move at the end of the straight and both times I duffed it! Props to Rager for pulling off the race 2 win, you showed us all how to hit the front and run with it!

Tim, I don't think Luke would mind too badly mate, the series wont be the same without you.

Got to say, I really don't think that was your fault Tim and really don't want you to stop racing with us..! You will be sadly missed :-(

If stupidity was a reason to leave Tim, there would be no-one left racing mate! I would have been gone after the first race lol. Just remember, you are a Bogan! So don't think that racing with your hoity toity computor R1 yuppies will change that! Bogans Rule!!!
 
great racing boys, best fun I had had on gt5 since I got it (Xmas 2012) I'm already looking forward to Sunday as Laguna seca as it's one of my stronger tracks, but turn 1 will be interesting to say the least, also a shout out to Luke for the great battle race 1, to bad you where on mediums, made me look slow! and by the way please don't leave Tim I'm looking forward to all the great battles we could have in the future. See you Sunday, good practice to all and have a good rest off the week
 
don't worry Mr fewzo, no matter how hard I try a bloke wearing a blue singlet, thongs and standing next to his truck will never make a yuppie. the kids and Mrs brought me iracing for fathers day and since trying it it's brilliant. as I have very limited time at home I must choose one or the other as they are complete different to drive which is why I drove like a complete tossa on Sunday. I am not leaving my mate's behind, hoping you all follow my lead but until you do there is no point trying to race Sunday and only end up wrecking someone race as I did on Sunday. hope you all understand and don't judge me to hard
 
I am also turning laps on Iracing , I would love for you boys to convert over there. We can run together on private hosted sessions or open sessions and believe me boys , its a very realistic driving sim. Gt5 is an awesome sim aswell and I enjoyed racing with you boys there,but running with you boys in Iracing would be excellent and a step in the right direction for the hobby that we all enjoy :)
 
i may struggle ot get there as i have itcc and gt on saturday and internet will suffer cardiac arrest
 
This iracing looks a laugh, I'm similar to Tim though only have time for one or the other at this stage, GT wins as I can't be bothered building a PC for it! Lets hope that GT6 brings the boys back to the fold

Bit sad to hear you leaving Tim i just got a t500 wheel well it will be here soon was hoping to come and kick your holden luvin ass lol. Hope not to many of the boys turn to the darkside gt will get boring quick. Im hoping to join you all again maybe next season if you'll have me.

We run the two wheels inside the white line rule here buddy.

I would suggest cutting the corkscrew is a lot slower than the correct line through anyways 👍
I personally find that I'm quicker through that section than a lot of others. I love that corner! Just a shame that all the brake markers get taken out during the race so keep that in mind when you are doing your practice.
 
Just a general thing for all to remember, if you run off the track remember to increase your braking distance for the next few corners as your tyres will be dirty.
This has caused incidents in the past so hopefully we can all keep this in mind going in to Sunday.

A question for Rager, what HP will we all be running this weekend? Need to know what to practice with :)
 
feeling a bit confident, and nice to have manoc racing, i dont think ive raced you before, should be fun!
