Yeah, me neither. I'm already considering giving up my .com account and keep just the .pt one for lack of time.

Residence level 9 under construction :)

Only problem is, the 125 pop inactive I was going to use to hide the settlers has been removed... and IAE-D4D & IAE-D4D2 are raiding me quite heavily. :(
 
write to them and tell them you want to get out of that neighborhood then they can have at that village.

@ Dave: Guess you can't spare the res I need (in the IGM).

Jon, can you spare 1k/0/1k/2k (for first settler), seeing as Dave won't be able to (3k Druids, haha)?

Sooner I get res, sooner I can come down there with you guys.

so I don't have to build them again for a long time. I think I'll actually stop now for a bit, I have a bunch of lvl 8 crops that I need to upgrade...or maybe I send those phalanx guarding my new oasis home....

I would look for somewhere with more open oases. That place only has two and by the time you get to be able to annex one you'll have to steal from someone else.
 
TBH, I'm not concerned about free oases.

Why are you going close to the strong players? Maybe you should go somewhere far off the map so you can start it over again.

I don't have anyone weak around me to raid either.

SimCity isn't too bad - you can always attack nature :)
 
I've never attacked anyone at all this round and I seem to be doing ok.

It's not about doing ok or not, it's about fun. To me Travian is a war game, and what I like the most is attacking other people or helping some alliance member out. But of course if sim city is what you like to do, than that's what you should do.

And raiding helps a lot to gather resources quickly, togheter with a good resource production.
