as in, some other people form here went quietly playing travian, and in time, they will whoop our cities, having all the inside info on our alliance. haha. that would be funny.

have to consider some stealth politics then, playing with open hand might not be a good idea :)

I'm just seeing what all the fuss is about. It just looks like a less-detailed version of "The Settlers" so far.

Yeah looks fine for me... that will surely increase our GTP community in travian :) 👍
 
first 3 days are slow, then it gets faster. and the bonus is, it is still very early, so joining now will be a huge advantage in few weeks. it seems the game gets over 100 new members a day.

lol, yeah. that should give us another 50 people from gtp joining travian in next 2 or 3 days.
it is a great pity that you can't change a color of your nickname in travian, i shall post a suggestion about that on the game's forum.

i had a look at user list in travian, there are some nicks that look like they could be from gtp [gt_fan2005, 69chevelle]. of course it can be anyone.... there are also some idiots with multiple accounts [only difference in nickname they made is a number, they even joined at the same time] so im going to grass them.

And one of them are still at the bottom of the leaderboard since I first joined, #1068, #1069, #1070 and #1071. :lol:
 
here, GT, do you have a marketplace? im going to build one soon, and as we are so close, maybe we could trade some stuff.
also, maybe we could farm few guys in our area, they didnt grow in last days, so their storage must be full, and they won't have any defence.

What do you mean by "farm".
 
'farming' means riding weaker players for resources. you just send your army and they rob the place and bring you back some resources. if you go to someone who doesnt have an army, or big cranny, or is inactive for a long time [so, his storage is full], you will bring resources back.. thats called 'farming' other players

Is farming illegal? I've got an inactive village right next to me that's been begging to get raided, and I'd love to get some troops there ASAP.
 
Farming is completely legal, if their n00b protection is expired get a troop over there and take it all.

There's a village near me that has had 13 pop. for 5 days, I can't wait to go take 400 of everything.
 
that will involve some going back and forth. i think certain units can only take a little bit of resources each trip
you can't fleece the guy completely in 1 go unless you send a lot of army.

and yes, it is legal, and i also have around 5 dormant villages around. i think i'll go for barracks and army, and see how farming other players compare to farming in my village :)
 
I'm creating a thread in the Travian (in the acutal game) forums for our alliance diplomacy etc, post suggestions for that thread in the other forum if you don't like what I've written, also please let's keep that thread for diplomacy, if you have things to post and want them public use this forum, if you want them private, use the other forum.

maybe it wasn't a good idea to say that we are from gtplanet? i mean, good for gtplanet :) but not for our alliance. we didnt have to give out our origins :)
