Just a word of advice here. I play gaul as well, and I would put those swordfighters on hold. 100 pop is not that much, maybe concentrate on resources first, and try trading for profit. You will not make much raiding profit with swordfighters, for gauls raiding really starts with teutates.
 
i'm a gaul and i started raiding before i had 100 pop. Now i have 5 phalanxes and 10 swordfighters. I'm raiding my (5) inactive neighbours all the time

listen, i have 25 imperians and 10 imperatoris. does my army have enough balls to take out some teuton guy who raided me before? Last time he had a crapload of clubswingers, but he stopped raiding me after I built 14 praetorians which successfully defended my town.

Depends on his current population. Very risky and most likely not worth it if he's higher than you, and still dangerous if he's near your population. I'd scout him first if you really want to get on his case.
 
i'll have to wait a while before i can even think of revenge.
The only player that has tried to raid me has a population of 664

Eep. Started my research on swordfighters a bit ago.

Should I just cancel them and put all the money into resources right now? I'm raiding 4 people that are inactive in my area right now...
 
Well, let's see if the problem still exists. I can use the other comp, but won't have access to it for a while.
 
Yes, yes it does. It's a good thing I need more farming, oring, or whatever to be done.
 
Hey, when you send out a scout, do you set it to reinforcement, attack, or raid? I'm guessing raid, but I don't know.
 
I thought you sent them on attack. If you select attack, it will give you the option to either scout for troops/resources or troops/defenses.
 
You can either use attack or raid, either way it will prompt you on the next step what you want to search for.

The only way to make a scout "attack" is to send him with other troops, and even then he's uselesss since he has 0 attack, and cannot carry ressources back. I was doing this with overnight raids when it wasn't safe to let my troops idle in my village, although I left one behind to see if I was being scouted.

It wasn't db, it was me. I was going to be attacked and was over cranny. Enjoy!
 
Anyone have any idea who attacked who with the catapults in .com?

Also, second village is going well. I've got a level 6 cranny on the way, and pop is up to 12. I should have it up to 20 by the end of the day hopefully.
 
I severely need a sitter guys. I won't be near a computer and I will be away all weekend. PLEASE!


If all is right, I should be over 300 by the end of the weekend.
