Careful not to send too much crop to boom, I've send him a merchant already with 200 crop, among other things. For me, iron goes out faster than it goes in.... 8th legionnaire on the way :D
 
8 legionnaires and your raids are going well? I might have to get in on this raiding, seems like it could be a nice supplement to my resource gathering.

Thank god one of us has a respectable army! Hopefully you can start cracking some skulls soon; some of us really need to have some farmers get their asses kicked (and, since you're Roman and our raiders are Teuton, you should be able to wipe out lots of their troops with an attack).

I've just awoke and I had 400 of each ressources, I built a barrack and a crop and I'm good for war now, we are going to own!
 
i have barracks not that i want them now. venomfx took my offer. there will be more offers coming later on anyway. i just need to relocate from work to home, upgrade my woman to a lvl1 happiness, and then i will be back. soonish...
 
Guys, I have a plan:

Now that I have barracks, I thought maybe I should upg it to Lvl 3 so to have academy and stronger units while still upg ressources and cranny, maybe the wall, then after the main building and so on.
 
now that you have barracks and want to fight build some units and start raiding. upgrading barracks is expensive business, you'd better off having extra income from raids to fund your barracks. it is early in the game, raiding should be first thing you do with your army.

all the things you mentioned just can't be done in the same time, too much resources needed. you have to prioritize [sp?].

Well, combat simulator tell me they have to be very weak teutons, because even now with my 11th legionnaire on the way, the dude who attacked me would win easily with 14 clubmens... (he has probably more by now... :scared: ) I should defeat him if he comes back though since I've build a wall and Romans get a bigger defense bonuse because of it but I doubt he will.

For those of you who start building an army, I strongly suggest to chose one village as a rally point (ideally with a wall) for your armies until you have one that could defend itself alone (unless you barely ever get attacked), because you'll easily lose them in raids, (like It happened to me earlier). If you don't do that, send your troops away in case of a raid, unless you have a wall and a large army.

- NEVER RAID WITH ONE LEGIONNAIRE, you'll lose him, even if the guy has 2 of population.


Oh, and farming is awesome, I'm sure I got over 2000 ressources since last night from it. :dopey:
 
I have a rally point if someone needs to use it. So far *knock on wood* I havn't been attacked.
 
Guys, I got attacked again by the same guy for the 5th time.....Can anyone get his ass for me?
 
Yep he only got away with about 90 rsources, he only sent 17 clubswingers this time around though, last time he sent 35 of them.
 
I think we should go and kick the crap out of ND4SPD's attacker first; he's just asking for it. I'll probably be able to start raiding by Monday, since I will be able to start mass producing troops by then. God I can't wait; I really need to kick witti's sorry little ass.

How do you use another town's rally point? Does it have to be a town in your alliance?

Oh yeah, if you sent those legionaires over my way before an attack, you'd likely wipe out witti's attacking force; he only sends 11 clubmen each time (up 1 from previous raids). I do have a wall as well.

I think your only hope is to upgrade your cranny, and spend as much as you possibly can. Eventually, he'll lose interest and move to farm another village. Unfortunately, this has not happened with me yet.

Yes, but I assumed 1 legionaire walking into a village of 3 population shouldn't have any problems... at least that's what common sense should indicate.
