So, what the first building I should construct after I get all my resources up to level 1? I was thinking of building the cranny.

I just signed up at that GTP Alliance Forum, too.

At this point you might want to consider packing up and restarting in the southeast with Boom and Famine. I certainly was considering this a day to two ago, but things have levelled off somewhat for me. It's certainly an option for you to consider, because this guy doesn't seem to be letting up at all, and you have no resources with which to upgrade your cranny.

Leave the cranny until the end of your noob protection (make sure you get it up to lvl 2 or 3 before protection ends though). For now, continue to concentrate on resources. Building a marketplace after getting all of your fields to lvl 2 might not be a bad idea (but you do need a lvl 3 main building).

If this is the case, and you're advanced enough to not consider starting from scratch, we could send him some ressources to help for the cranny upgrades (they don't cost much though - in fact, they cost less than the cranny protects, so it should be fine).

- add all other GTP members in your profile and declare them as friends or ally members; Attackers will think twice if they still want to attack you, when you have friends

For those who're being attacked... Please upgrade your cranny!, that's the only efficient way of stopping this! Do not send ressources to raiders for retaliation, even I, with an army of 12 can't raid any Teuton effectively yet (unless I'm very lucky and attack him while his army's out, and even that isn't going to hurt them at all, since they get ressources with raids instead of production).

Jeff's attacker brought 45 clubswingers, in order to kill most of them you need nearly 100 legionnaires according to my combat sim. Don't try to build troops for defense, it'll be just waste resources if you get attacked, your guys will die and kill maybe 1 or 2 of theirs, but the rest of their troops will still raid you to the max.

Hide your resources.

Resources, resources, resources. Everything else can come later. And keep your crops up. When those dip down, everything comes to a stop quick.
 
I need crops if anyone has any please. Also, with the sending my troops to a newbie protected village (to demonseed), it doesn't let me do it because he has n00b protection.

Not necessarily a bug; player who enter later get more res than I got as I started on the first day; maybe their noob protection is longer, too.... That makes sense, because more raiders are out there now....
 
This hunter fool is giving me an ulcer. I'll tell you that much.
I can see why noob protection would be prolonged....it's because of asshats like him.

I know.
I've had that happen to me before on older games. The same a**hole keeps attacking you so you can't progress.

I got by my attacker after he left and came back. Tried to raid me and I pwned his arse.
But seriously, I hate people like that. Muleing off other people. :ouch:

of course. he's not doing anything significant....it's just annoying. the only thing is I haven't been able to build up a force between attacks without them being killed in raids.

send your army away to one of us, who hasn't got a noob protect before attacker reaches you. this way your army will survive, and if you play it right with your res, attacker gets nothing at all, most probably he will lose few units on attacking your empty village anyway.
doing this when you are being attacked will let your build up your army.

but he always gets me while i'm sleeping. the crafty bastard.
 
anyone has any info on menglan? his village is still on 3 population, i think he is not playing anymore. and what about fe111 [flame returns]? is he playing?
