I remember that thing from back in the day. There used to be a twin turbo 300zx running around my city 4-5 years ago with the same VeilSide style spoiler.

Looked 1000 times better on the 300.

Nope. Not missing a thing.

He did it just so he could say he had the first/only tri-turbo MKIV. Even a small single turbo could make 650+hp.

depending on what you call a small turbo, a 650 hp turbo is a fairly big one in my books

you would only require 3 small turbo's to produce 650hp

There's a supra around the corner from my dad's house with the same spoiler as that one.

if you guys are confused about what turbos are capable of check this graph of popular turbo's and what they are capable of.

note all these turbo's are rated at 1Bar so these are all capable of more power at higher boost

yeah, but wouldnt 3 turbos have less lag than 1? and would you get more power in lower RPMs??

I don't think it would reduce turbo lag or increase the low end since turbos need lots of air running through their turbine before they can start to make a big difference.

I'm not a big fan of spoilers that have huge downforce, or a lack there of, but it looked good.

Did I mention it came off of Vinny Tens single digit MKIV?

no its refering to how much total hp it is capable of producing at 1Bar

also for example the HKS GT3037 turbo on the graph says it is capable of 440PS at 1Bar, i know for a fact that it is able to produce at least 550PS above 1Bar (i have seen figures of about 550PS at 1.5bar)

Sorry im not too familiar with turbo measurements but what is 1Bar? Second, wouldn't max HP vary according to the vehicle it is applied to??

1 BAR = 14.7psi (boost)

the turbo is rated at what its capable of, that doesnt mean it will perform that sort of power on any engine just one suited for it, if you had some crappy old pushrod 4 cyl that isnt tuned right you cant expect that sort of power out of it. the turbos are rated at how much air they can pump which then determans how much power can be produced with that air
