Triple Monitor Setup

Has anyone done this yet?
If so, can you describe what is involved, or tell me where I can find the details.
My cousin and his wife like to play video games at the same time and against each other, so they each have their own TV, PS3, and Xbox.
Both of their TVs are 55 inch models.
I just bought the same 55 inch model.
We are planning to take my TV and PS3 to his house, fire up our 3 PS3s and get 165 inches of GT5 glory.
I just need to know ahead of time if we have to buy some cables to connect them, or do they talk together over the internet, and how to configure each game to accomplish this setup.

Sounds awesome... Let me know if you figure it out, I will go buy 2 new tvs right now... haha I will get a 33 inch to use for me rear and side view mirrors haha

This feature is not supported by GT5 I have 3 ps3's and 3 copies of the game... Does not work.

Damn, is this yet another thing they promised that they didn't deliver?
I remember watching videos of them running development copies on 6 monitors!
Maybe we will have to use our PCs, I think either rFactor or iRacing, or both, support multi-monitors.

Yeah that 6 screen promo was just showing off the 3D feature unfortunately.

Most PC sims support it. And Forza 3 did also. :(

PC Sims definetly have triple monitor support 👍
 
Triple monitor works great however to have center monitor PS3 grinding on Indy, right monitor PC showing Top Gear from Netflix, left monitor PC browser open to GTP... makes grinding for $ not a big deal.

Lol, that's how I have been playing. I have a triple moniter set up with my computer and PS3. One screen for GT5, netflix, forum and winnings sheet.
 
it does work, 3 ps3's 3 copies of the game either a lan router or they can link wirelessly,
just gotta read the set up in the support link on the gt site. setup your main ps3 as the server and other 2 (or 4 if your going the 5 screen) as numbered clients

You may have missed this - but those posts were made when GT5 had only been out for a month.. at the time it wasn't working as intended.
