As for the picture, they are photographing a Viper in a garage full of dodges. Where would you expect to find a shiny new Viper really easily? A Dodge dealership. And for all we know, that Jeep is someone else's transportation to and from the dealership.

I've never seen a drifting Escalade in real life and i dout anyone will ever try it but that could be done in videogames. I've never seen a Suzuki Escudo or Toyota GT-One drifting in real life so that was just as pointless to say as the guy mentioning fuel useage.

It just bothers me seeing people complain about things that are in the game as if it's their game. Complaints about whats not in is worth the hard feelings. You dont have to touch a truck or SUV. You'll buy it and love it so why waste your time complaining. Having them has no "negative" effect on the game and thats a fact not an opinion.

Oh yeah, you are questioning what PD wants in the game since you say they shouldn't be putting SUV's and trucks in the game. You are basically saying what they "should" be doing.


Out of curiosity, what type of car do you own in real life and what type of car do you dislike in real life? Why complain about a virtual world?

The only thing wrong with linoleum's last post is that PD can't get every car they want into the game and they're filling the gaps with a wider variety of diiferent cars SUV's etc, although I see your point theres no chance an SUV will take the space of a good car.

Thank you for stepping in Der Alta, but I was in the process of smoothing over myself. First, I needed to know why exactly he felt I made any personal attacks twords him, so I asked for proof. I'm still waiting.

Everything posted here at GTP can be, or will be, critized, but that does not mean it's a personal attack.
What do you say to a person that thinks critizing the way they feel, about certain subject, a personal attack? It's just the process of debate, people, don't take it personal.

I have never made a negative personal attack to anyone here at GTP, and I never will. If I have said anything that sounds like a personal attack, it was said with a sense of humor, and it was not intended as malicious.

Well its like this in every single forum people go back and forth about something dumb and they start "attacking" one another, why i dunno just childish in my opinion. If you think someones wrong hey just let it be, ive seen alot of IMO "dumb comments" but i dont get into it cuz its stupid to fight over a game lol, everyone says its dumb for PD to add trucks/SUVs but i dont think it is i mean hey if they dont have anymore cars to make up and the companies want them to add trucks n such than PD will add them, PD isnt making a game just for you, its for a wide variety off people. Alot of people think that gaming manufactures makes games just how they like em but tuff, some people dont like them but some people do and in PDs eyes and people with common sense dont care, heck if i didnt like them adding SUVs and Trucks then i just wont race them in GT4 and just let it be, but to me i dont care and yea i do think its a great addition to GT, but for those of you who dont liek the idea well all i can say is tuff, if you dont like it dont buy it and race it, just forget that they are there and let it be. Cuz some of you just cry over it and just make yourselfs look and act very childish, rememeber ITS ONLY A GAME.. I buy it for the fun of it, and with SUVs and Trucks its just makes the fun factor even higher cuz i think it would be cool racing against other trucks in a rally race or SUVs on the track. All and all everyone has his/hers own opinion, but dont start complaining about it until you've atleast had the game for awhile and have tried the trucks and SUVs out then you'll have a good debate there but for right now its not even worth the time, cuz i know all of the people you dislike the idea will come back once the game is done and say "damn those SUVs are hot hooked up" or whatever.... but words of advice.... Dont hate it until you've tried it!

Is it not possible that this picture was taken at some chrysler facility? Which just so happened to have trucks and SUVs in the back ground. The only vehicle being recorded is the SRT 10 Viper. To me, this doesn't prove trucks will be in GT4. It just proves alot of people get edgy near to a release date.

It's not just that pic, trucks and 4x4's have been spotted at test days as well.

I agree. A lot of the USDM car people are trying to revert back to their root body style in the glory days of the muscle cars. The SSR looks like a chopped and lowered old ass Chevy pick up. The new mustang? Even uglier than the last one. So why are the companies trying to bring back their glory days? Because of the following words.

Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru.....the list goes on

But see, that's just it. They want it to look like them. But they can't even COMPARE! The 1964-66 Mustang/Shelby GT350 was gorgeous. The next one was even better. But they belonged there, and they don't need to be dug up. In my mind, it will only tarnish their image.

I agree on the X5 and Porsche SUV. They're a good idea for an SUV that has performance. A Ford Explorer is not.

I can understand keeping something from each body style and transferring it to the next. Like the three strip taillights. That's tradition, like the Skyline with the donut taillights. But you don't see Nissan going back to the Hakoska body style for the next Skyline. It all depends on what you like. I'd rather have a 1965 Mustang than a 2005 Mustang.
