Trying to decide where to go after PS3....Xbox 1 or PS4?

Well Well well, I guess I'm back to not being sure again. With the delay of GTS, I'm leaning toward an XB1 again. What a let down! But, since Scorpio isn't coming out until 2017, I may stick with the PS4 Pro and worry with other racing titles.
 
Honestly if you can afford it I would right now buy an Xbox One S and a regular PS4, the new slimmer one.

They're both $299 right now but wait until Black Friday/the holidays and I reckon you could well get both for $500. That will give you all the racing games on the Xbox, the other quality exclusives on PS4 and ready for GTS whenever it does launch.

If you have the cash that is the perfect solution right now. It's what I'd do, because I'm in a similar predicament. I want to play all the quality Forza games on Xbox but I also want to play some of the big PS4 exclusives.

Plus with the One S you get an UHD Blu-Ray player, ready for the future if you don't already have a 4K TV.
 
I've bought an xbox one for Forza and it was a letdown. Fm6 is horrible unless you're doing mostly online racing. Career is stupid except the special event. I have no idea about driveclub but I know some people like it.

Weird since the offline mode is actually way more expansive over the online :lol:
 
Go with Xbox. I used to be a Play Station-only guy thanks to GT, but Xbox won me over with Forza. The console is worth picking up solely for FM6 and FH3. Trust me; you'll never miss GT with these games. And if you need a good sim, you got Assetto Corsa too.

A PS4 still has a place in my living room though, but only for Ratchet and Clank, The Last of Us and other non-racing exclusives.

FM7, Horizon 3, Assetto Corsa. What about Drive Club? I think I may wait until GTS is on the shelf before I even consider a PS4. I still have a PS3 Slim that serves as media server, Netflix, Hulu, Etc. So I will end up having 2 consoles if I only get the Xbox. Just paid off a credit car, so perfect timing to go get a complete Xbox Bundle. :)
 
I don't have an Xbox One but if you really love your racing games then you're probably best off getting one for the Forza games because the offering on PS4 is pretty woeful in my opinion. Having said that the PS4 has some big exclusives coming such as: Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, Spiderman, God Of War and of course GT Sport.
 
Well I got rid of the PS3, and get an Xbox One S. I bought Forza Horizon 3 and it's great. Sadly, it's not completely my cup of tea. But, got a steal on a code for Forza Motorsport 6 and I'm in love. I prefer the game style of FM6 over Horizon, but my 7 year old son loves Horizon. So, we're both very happy. Not regretting getting a PS4 at all. I like everything about the Xbox so far. Glad I did not wait for GT Sport to come around, I would've been missing out!
 
I was going to say. Get an Xbox One this year while they`re on sale for decent price, & more importantly Forza. Then when GT Sport releases, or next Christmas get a PS4. That`s what i`ve done, last year got the Forza Limited edition 1TB Xbox One, then this year getting a 1TB PS4 Slim bundled with Infinite Warfre & MW Remastered. Since you`ve got an Xbox One now, happy gaming :cheers:
