Tsukuba Time Attack Challenge (JDM Only)

Hi Everyone..

I am proposing a time attack event similar to they run in Japan at the Tsukuba circuit.

Track is obviously Tsukuba.

Rules:

1. Must use Japanese Domestic car. No exotics.
2. Must use SOFT SPORTS TYRES - No full slicks.
3. Race Modified street cars okay but no purpose built race cars (eg JGTC 300 or 500 cars excluded)
4. 600hp limit

4 Classes:

1. FWD
2. RWD.
3. 4WD
4. NON TURBO

Please post your fastest time and the class you are entering in. There is no real way to police tyres, power and people lying about their times so please just be honest with your entries.

Ideas for cars:

FWD - Civic, Integra, Prelude (having trouble thinking outside Honda but sure there is something else)

RWD - Silvia, S13, S14, S15, 180sx, Supra, NSX, FC RX7, FD RX7, RX8.. sure there are more.

4wd - Evo's, WRX, Skylines (R32, R33, R34 R35) etc.

Non turbo - RX8, Honda's, AE86 etc.

I'm going to post my best time in each category when I get home tomorrow night...

Everyone will probably go straight for the R35 GTR V SPEC but it would be really nice to see people mix it up... Hope to see some older cars like FD RX7, S13 and even AE86... I'll be running mainly older stuff.

The skill here is not only in the driving... tuning suspension, gear ratio's and car choice are crutial here...

If you have suggestions for a new class (was thinking maybe 200hp and under???) let me know... Hope you guys are interested.
 
I used R32 Tuned to be 500HP and 1375kg, did it before so I forgot the exact time, it's around 59 second
 
great idea until we finally get the time trial leaderboard update. After that things like this shall be a thing of the past but until then I am gonna warm up my Evo9 RM. :)
awd class for me.
 
Current leader of the 4wd class is Leoyblam:

4wd/Awd - R32 GTR with a time of 59.59

See if Driver46 can knock him off in the Evo.
 
I hadn't seen either of those threads but they are slightly different to my challenge.. the first one allows exotics... and the second 2 seem to have unlimited tyre restrictions.
 
I'm not sure why you used "NON TURBO"... and I'm not sure why it's bothering me so much.
Please change it to Naturally Aspirated :)

Ok...it's a new day, back from work. Did 3 sessions with a few laps each.
Last session was 5 laps.
First 2 laps in the 0:57's, then
3-rd lap 0:56.916
4-th lap 0:56.526
and finally
5-th lap

0:56.266

car: EvoIX RM, 506hp, soft sport tires.

I am not good at car setups and tuning so I don't know how to get rid of that cars understeer. :(
 
i was hoping to do the same thing, start a time attack event with Japanese cars only. and again with different classes. for example pro class will have cars such as the ct230r evo etc all the way down to street class with ae86's. :)

you can add me on psn, but i might make a new online account just for time attack.
