Those were both rather easy to gold, they should have slimmed down on times required for the Kei cars IMO...
but a fun one. Nice to use something really underpowered for once.

Haven't got times at hand, but a quick go gave easy gold with tuned Autozam AZ-1 but couldn't do better than silver time with full tune Honda N360 - the gearing is all wrong though.

I know someone who has been working on that, judging by some tests which I have done it is likely that a 2J will be under 500 PP after 250,000 miles. I used a stock Lotus Elan as the test subject and found that after about 200,000 miles, with 50% power and 200kg ballast it had 68.5% of its original PP. If a 2J had 68.5% of its original PP it would have 455 IIRC, of course different cars will lose different amounts but it looks possible.

The top car when I did it around 11:30pm Eastern was a Furai. Mine only went down to 503pp.

When I did the Kei TT, my ranking was over 80,000th, which was a new low for me (I golded). When I checked the leaderboards all the top times were the GTR GT Academy, a car which I cannot even obtain, being Canadian. Two minutes later my ranking disappeared, as did all the GTR times.

i would say PD should just provide the cars for all TT events. they did it before so why not make it long term? this would cut out the 2j and many others too.. they provide the car, no tuning allowed, just click and go like the amg event and so on.

Well I will not be using the 2j this time. At 500pp and sports hard just doesn't make sense to me. Golded with a 111r but a lethargic lap really. Been doing some work and my hands are killing me...

Forget the 2J it's all about the 2D now!

Its very fast to corner, didnt realise I was in my second account :'(
But I set a 1'31.0xx with the Chapparal 2D. Was up a couple tenths on the leader for T1. A few thousanths up on T2, then lost about 0.5 seconds on the long straight under the tunnell Maybe it can be tuned for more straight line speed.

For 350pp TT, I got 1:33.931 on 1st lap with Suzuki Capuccino '95 at 336pp bought from NCD, no mods, aside from BB 9/7, no aids. Now I want to try more Kei cars.

For 500pp TT, I got 1:40.940 on 2nd try with Ferrari F40'92 at 500pp, detuned to 380hp, 1352kg, no other mod, BB 9/5, no aids. Could have at least 1:39.xxx if not having some slides. I love this car.

Noooo! Tuning is half the fun. We must be able to set the transmission & brakes etc as we like. I hate driving cars stock which is why i never do shuffle races. If the TTs did that, i'd lose interest.

I just tried it in the Midget, and it barely broke inside 2 mins!? LOL... Ya think you're doing alright, then the loooooong slooooow climb up the hill takes nearly half the laptime! Makes me wanna try it in the 2CV. I wonder if it'll even make it up the hill...

Here are my times for these events.

350PP Kei Cars @ Eiger Nordwand: 1:27.509 with a BEAT Ver.F (all parts except spoiler equipped, 71.1% power, 200kg ballast adjusted all the way to the back)

500 PP Cars @ Trial Mountain: 1:35.187 with a MOTUL AUTECH GT-R (full downforce, 50% power, 49kg ballast)

7/13/12: I've improved my time to 1:34.186 with the Elise 111R (411th place ATM). I'll post the tune I used later. It might be a little counter-intuitive, but it worked for me.

Down to 1:33.681 with a Chaparral 2D.

I just improved my time.

The slowest car i have in my garage is a Fiat 500. That did a 2:30.
During the long crawl up the hill, the speed dropped back to 25kms/15mls & had to drop back to 2nd gear. lol

What was your min speed while climbing in the 360?

hi kb im running full balast and the big turbo limiting the power back to legal, not sure of my tranny or spring set but give that a go im running mid 1.31 at mo, ill try post my set up later.
