Yeah not excited for this one. Fisherman's Ranch Eiger Norwand Reverse & Alsace? If I didn't know any better I would think PD is purposely trying to make me not attempt to do this week's challenge     I know that is not true but are putting three of my ( maybe 2 but I don't like Alsace Village track) in the same week's challenge if they used Willow Springs then I know they were trolling me.:lol::lol:

Alsace is quite cool for me but not in reverse layout.
Yesterday i did first time the 700pp race i really don't know where i lost the CRB 🤔
Unfortunately there's no room for the new Hyundai which is very good .
Did the 700pp ( 5 laps )race at Brazil on sport equipment, weight reduction stage one and SM tyres ( less tha 550pp ) and was victorious!!!

Interesting also is the new mazda and quite bizarre that you can't change or add anything except tyres and aero

The Mazda is like that because of Mazda doesn't want to let the specs out yet so hopefully they will patch it once the car is publicly available
In the bio page for the new Mazda, it says this version is tuned to the max capacity the vehicle can manage, or something like that. That could explain it.

It's certainly true to a point: that engine is stretched to its limits... while having a warranty and sufficiently acceptable emissions to not skew the fleet average. There's nothing to stop them getting more out of it and sacrificing reliability when in a game where reliability isn't a consideration.

But yes, the previous statement that Mazda doesn't want the stats disclosed yet and wants people to experience the car in "raw" form is accurate. It'll be tuneable at some future point, no doubt.

You should also consider: Japanese automakers reached an informal agreement in 1988 to limit the power of their vehicles to 276 hp and speeds to 180 km/h (112 mph), specifically for cars sold in the Japanese market (the strict definition of a JDM car).
This agreement was never enforced by the Government and routinely the cars were in excess of 300hp, figure this each time we tune up our cars...

Ran the last and first races.

Attempted twice for CRB. Quit both races when the AI just crowded the apexes at several corners when I was trying to evade collision. My third attempt, I saw the pattern when the TT is ahead of the GT86 and when it’s behind the GT86. Passed all cars while they pitted. Passed the Viper and built up a four second buffer before it pit. Gained the lead and had about 2 laps in the tank at lap 7 and a lead of 12 seconds ahead of the P2 Swift.

Decided to pit end of lap 7 for some fresh boots and a splash to add 1.2 laps of fuel to my 1.9 left. I can hear the Swift down the front straight. I’m heading down pit road. Thinking I’ll be released from auto-drive. Halfway into the turn, I get released and right at that moment, the AI heads for the apex.

No way to avoid that. Full lock and braking didn’t help. Had I been released from auto-drive past the pit barrier, I’d have enough time to control my car. Anyway, fully stock Mazda3 Gr.4 was fine. Good speed and fuel/tyre wear. Might be able to no stop if able to dispatch the AI without being held up.

The 12R is sweet. Big fun into the sweepers. Can pretty much induce oversteer at will with complete control. Just keep it tight and grippy or make it smoothly glide the whole lap. A complete joy to drive.

Completed the new weekly with the following vehicles (and as always, my runs are done with PSVR2, Hard AI and never exceeding tentyre grade of the AI):
Screenshot_2025-09-26-01-26-23-923.webp

  1. Jimny JC on CS tyres (+ close range gearbox) - race was closer than i would have liked, but went smoothly, nabbed first by lap 4 bout halfway around thenfirst corner
  2. Lightly modified FJ40 on D tyres - had to do some light modification to have a chance, but was pretty easy all things considered, got first place not long after the big jump. Fun fact this one of the very few cars in the game to have PP changes from equipping the steering adapter!
  3. Completely Stock 2017 Ford GT - this went better than expected in all honesty, aside from brakes this was incredibly chill and capable, got first place on lap 4 at the bus stop chicane (i dont know the name of it)
  4. Low RPM turbo modified Delta HF on RH tyres - did also equip a racing gearbox to slightly adjust the ratios and shift incredibly early to complete the race barely on a no stop strategy, My front right tyre did die on the beginning of the final lap so i was nursing the car theough the final lap...qith the Audi pikes peak S1 hounding me on the uphill section, thankfully i manage to drive defensively welll enough to guarantee victory
  5. BoP'd Corvette C7 Gr3 on RM tyres - wanted a chill finale but still making use of pit timing, so i went with RM tyres instead of hards this time, was a fun race even if the qin was basically guaranteed by the beginning of lap 6

Overall a GREAT WEEKLY, and miles better of the disasterclass last week was.

Quite a fun week with a couple of new races. Sunday Cup is easy enough, tried out the RAV4 which isn't actually too bad to drive. One-make I got very close with a stock Land Cruiser but I didn't want to keep restarting over and over to try to find a slower field so I used a tuned car instead. Depends who starts where it should be possible to win without tuning, still a fun race at a lovely time of day. Clubman Cup was a bit tricky in the CHC Chevy Nova, on SH it really struggles for rear end grip but I just about managed to win. Again if the grid is different the race would be easier but it turned out to be a lot of fun. Gr.B at Eiger I've always enjoyed and had a bunch of fun with the Focus, noticed the AI was a little different to what it used to be as the NSX was a lot quicker than I remember, only car you have to worry about is the S1 Quattro. WTC 700 is really easy, won by 40 seconds at 660 PP so there's a lot of slower cars you can use here. Pitted on lap 5 for tyres and fuel and ran map 6 most of the time on a '95 Integra. The Suzuki sometimes pits twice, same with the Viper, most of the others drive around on completely worn out front tyres for a lap before they pit again which loses them a lot of time. Shame it doesn't get completely dark with this race, think it would make it a little more interesting.

Cars for this week:

What a slog... Seriously, I found myself genuinely struggling to keep awake for R2, R3, R4 and R5. That's right, Sunday Cup (Which used the new RAV4) was the only event that genuinely interested me.

I'm not even going to bother writing down the results of each race, except for WRC GR.B, has anyone noticed it's easier, I don't know if it's me (I play on easy difficulty, so that's probably why)

In lap 2 I already caught up with the leaders.

🌶️ 715 HP Impreza rally car. Acceleration is mental yet not adequate on the hardest difficulty. I think this is the most difficult race in the entire game.

The Feys livery I downloaded fits the car well.

🌶️🌶️🌶️ RUF CTR3 700pp

Beautiful livery by a talented individual (not me 😌), the car outperformed the competition despite a necessary splash 'n dash in the last lap.

Various racing lines possible 😁, the Alsace circuit fits me better the other way around. A lot of corners tighten up, squeezing you in and take out the speed of the corner exit. Feels unnatural.

🌶️🌶️🌶️ 575pp tuned Land Cruiser Ambulance, kept the original engine though.

Made a vintage ambulance livery for it.

So, this time its gonna be quick to the point; all races won, with the right amount of excitement from the Clubman Cup, WRC Gr.B and WTC 700 races due to car picked and are the ones that will have a brief summary. They are:

1) Sunday Cup - Toyota Rav4 Adventure '20; 401PP on Comfort Medium tires and just three addons.

IMG_8183.webp

IMG_8182.webp

2) Special Event Toyota Land Cruiser One make - Toyota Land Cruiser FJ '74; 510PP on Dirt Tires, engine swapped and nothing else added nor tuned (gotta love good ol' leaf springs on solid axles  )

IMG_8184.webp

IMG_8187.webp

3) American Clubman Cup 700 - CHC Chevy Nova '67; 653PP on Sports Soft tires: This was a retouched 600PP tune I already done and it has good mechanical front grip, but none at all at the rear and I refuse to put a wing on this beauty, so as expected the fight was to avoid oversteer at all. Only used third gear and above because this car has so much torque, the chassis twisted coming off the line  but what a sound it makes!

IMG_8186.webp

IMG_8185.webp

4) WRC Gr.B - Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2 '86; 690PP on Racing Medium tires: FM6 all the way with a pit stop at the end of lap 5 for fuel and tires, even with 50:50 diff still went tail happy on the bridge after the tunnel and at the train station, quick acceleration but was fighting oversteer too, will revise this tune, but overall fun race, even the ai crashed a few times

IMG_8180.webp

5) WTC 700 - Hyundai ELANTRA N '23; 699PP on Racing Medium tires; YES, this car delivered on all fronts! Found a tune on yt, didn't work, then I remembered I have an Integra at 650PP and went on from there for over two hours tweaking and testing, then because I was a bit tired found an editable basic TC livery (thanks for keeping them open, I do that with mines also!!) and added all the decals and other things to do my version of the IMSA TCR Challenge car. Just a bit of understeering if you push it but man, you aim the tires and the car will follow without hesitation!! Love this one!!

@snowman_pr can you share your settings for the Hyundai please .....

Just did the weeklies today ,all good till Alsace .
Pick one of my favourite and calm cars for non stop race aiming to get the CRB .
Torture my self against traffic and needed 4 and half lap to get Infront, cut the pace ( the low one became slower ) in order to avoid lapping many cars on worn tyres at the last two laps but again DIDN'T work 🤬🤬
The slightest touch from the AI and and the CRB
flies .

As about the EIGER REVERSE.....

Well, that went quicker than I expected (hard difficulty)...

weekly-challenge-202509w4-r1.webp

Kyoto - Toyota RAV4 Adventure '20 - Ran the car stock since it was so close to the suggested PP. Easy win.

weekly-challenge-202509w4-r2.webp

Fishermans Ranch - Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40V '74 - I installed all the sport-level upgrades plus the close-ratio transmission. Still, all I could manage was a P2 -- and that by only a nose. Good enough.

weekly-challenge-202509w4-r3.webp

Watkins Glen - Ford GT '17 - I went a little overboard with the modifications -- SS tires, plus all the sport- and club-level parts -- which put it at 699PP. The car was all straight-line speed. It took me a couple laps to adjust to just how early I had to brake to bring down to cornering speeds. It was another easy win.

weekly-challenge-202509w4-r4.webp

Eiger Nordwand - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition Gr.B Rally Car - I tried the Subaru Impreza Rally Car '98, but it just didn't have it. I went for an 8RM-4RS strategy. Finished in last place, a minute back from the leader. Switched to the Lancer for my next attempt. It proved to be much more capable car. I started on RMs and planned to do the same 8RM-4RS strategy that I used with the Subaru, short-shifting about half-way up the rev bar to get the fuel to last. When I pulled into the pits, I came to startling realization that I'd never bought RSs for the car, so I swapped on RMs for the second stint. That was good enough to get me a P2
finish. Good enough for the check mark.

weekly-challenge-202509w4-r5.webp

Alsace Village - Nissan Silvia spec-R Aero (S15) Touring Car - This car just ate up this track. I ran a 6RM-4RS strategy, short-shifting at 3/4 of the rev bar to save fuel. Took the lead at the end of lap five when the lead went into the pits. Never saw another car afterwards. Easy win.

That was a fun week.

Good week.
For Kyoto I just grabbed a simple car I hadn't driven in ages. Don't remember the PP. Easy win.
Kyoto Driving Park - Miyabi_ by 2cam16, on Flickr
Fisherman's was an easy win too. I mildly modded this FJ the other day.
Fishermans Ranch_ (3) by 2cam16, on Flickr
I used the last car I had won the American race with. 714pp and easy win.

Alsace was a bit to figure out. First tried it with the Gr.4 Mazda3 but I ran out of tires on the last lap after I had taken first over Blazsan and his stupid Suzuki so only placed second. lol Jumped into the Cayman. Pitted at the end of lap 6 in first. Tires and 4 laps of fuel. Came out right in front of Blazsan and held him off for a 1.5sec win.
