should come out 2017
Big Ben interactive is the publisher...

I am not into games with bikes, but this could be a exception :gtpflag:

When I think of the Isle of Man and such in gaming, I normally think of Jester Interactive and their Suzuki TT Superbikes series. Not sure what this title from Big Ben Interactive will be like, but I'm hopeful they'll capture the ferocity and the danger of real road racing much like the Suzuki TT Superbike games have.

Source? Kinda strange to just throw a thread up like this with little or nothing to go off of.

I think the sheer breadth and variety of racing games this generation is amongst the best since the original PlayStation.

Variety yes just not quite there on quality in some cases.

It's great there's an Isle of Man TT game coming. I will approach with serious scepticism. Kylotonn did OK with WRC5, wasn't ground breaking, wasn't terrible. Motorcycle club however was utterly dreadful.

We can only speculate at this point, but I'm still going on my experience playing "Suzuki TT Superbikes: Real Road Racing Championship." That game to me was the very essence of how dangerous it is racing full throttle on a motorcycle on twisty country and urban roads. In fact, it was a GOOD thing there was auto-braking at some corners! With this newer game, I hope it is more accessible than the game I just mentioned. I don't think I could do 17 or 20 minutes at the Snaefell Mountain Circuit without serious crashes or dumping the bike. Or in the case of sidecars, making sure not to have the other rider or myself to get knocked off.

My assumption is that this game will either be exciting or boring depending on how much detail goes into the riding dynamics as well as the amount of detail in racing the Isle of Man TT course. Is this going to be a pure sim? Or are we looking at something challenging, yet accessible, kind of like (and I never played ANY game from this series) the WRC series games? We'll have to get more info on this game when it becomes available.

Sounds good and I hope they come through.

What do you hope this game will be like then fellas ? I hope it's a simulation game that really shows what bikes are like in terms of acceleration and handling i think is what's needed. There needs to be the heart in the mouth sort of sensation when you play it as well.Nobody complained when Grand Prix Legends came out and that's a simulation game. There needs to be a career mode where you start from the bottom and rise to the top like Joey Dunlop or whoever. The names of real riders need to be in there. Also should have classic races where you are say Mike Hailwood racing against Giacomo Agostini in that famous race.Could also race as John Surtees on an Mv Agusta 500 etc.Or racing as Steve Hislop on the Norton Rotary against Carl Fogarty on a Yamaha YZF 750.Could be many famous races included in there.Obviously there should be endless tuning of road bikes too.

@Smoke&Slide you're asking for a lot for the first game in the series with all those classics, I'd prefer a purely modern game with diverse road courses, maybe the north-west 200 and definitely the Southern 100. I definitely want a pure sim similar to tourist trophy and TT superbikes. In fact I don't care if it gets delayed by 3 years, get it right!

No way, went to a classic game store yesterday. Playstation, Xbox and Playstation 2.

Soooo many (car) racing games of every type.

It is asking too much, you're right but you could have some of them classic races as downloads/add-ons and make up the races yourself with a offline race generator in the game that chooses the riders/bikes for you.You choose the decade and year then choose the rider plus the bike. Then the race generator chooses the other riders/bikes to race against.I would have races from all over the world AdamP93, but if they can't include all I don't mind.Plus if they can't get all the race bikes that's fair enough, as there is a lot to choose from.I don't care if it's not out by next year, as long as they take their time with the game. This game does not need to be rushed at all.The game also needs all the race catagories of the TT e.g. TT1, TT2, lightweight TT, Clubman TT, supersport TT, zero TT etc. This game first and foremost needs to be a pc game, not a console game converted to a pc game, to be possibly one of the greats. For it to be a great simulation game. That way the games can be at their best for each system, whether it be the consoles and the pc.And like I said before it needs a career mode too.The A.I. could be pretty much perfect now.You could have new and old and obscure bikes as add-ons for the game plus courses, it would be never ending. This game would last forever i think.Until the next game comes out.

This is what would be in my menu system, if I made the game:

Arcade mode
Time trial mode
Career mode
Quick race mode ( with race generator )
Options
Online
Music player
