  • Tuesday night, Eastern Standard Time
  • 9:45pm-10:00pm Lobby opens for practice
  • Immediately after PRACTICE: Please try not to leave track for any as the grid lineup will be set at this time. NOTE: There will be no qualifying. It will instead be random draw generated by a spreadsheet.
  • 10:10pm: Race
  • Race starts will be Grid Start W/ False Start Check.
  • As sim racing drivers sometimes we forget that this is a game and let our competitive nature take over to the point we ruin other drivers races, forget the rules from time to time or have a brief lapse of judgement. We all enjoy racing that is why we are here, with that being said we need to remember others are here for the same reasons. The ARL way has and will always be clean and fun first! When we practice/race we all need to remember we are representing ARL and all the hard work that has been put in to make this one of the best up and coming leagues on GT Sport. These guidelines are not meant to single out a driver but are here to ensure that while racing hard all drivers understand what's expected of them. ARL has built a reputation of being a fun, competitive, clean series the following rules and guidelines are here to help drivers remember and learn the correct form of driving etiquette.
  • Clean racing is expected!
  • Racing hard and close will have some contact here and there, it is expected to be kept clean. Damage received or given most likely the other received damage, its expected to give way to the other car.
  • Drivers are not allowed to continuously Block.
  • Passing is expected to be done Cleanly and within track limits.
  • If contact is made that results in another car going off-track, the offending car is expected to concede track position to the other car involved in the incident no matter how many positions are lost. An Incident Report is expected to be filed.
  • Heavily damaged cars are expected to stay off the racing line until they get back to the pits for repairs.
  • Lapped cars are expected to hold their line, and let the faster drivers find a way around them.
  • Payback reactions will most likely result in a probationary period, or termination of their registration. This is something that will not be tolerated. Incident Reports can be filed, and will be looked at thoroughly.
IF YOU DISCONNECT PLEASE POST IN THE THREAD THAT YOU WERE DISCONNECTED AND WE WILL GIVE YOU POINTS FOR THE LAST PLACE ABOVE THE ONES THAT RAGE QUIT. IF YOU QUIT AND DON'T POST IN THE THREAD, YOU WILL BE SCORED WITH A DNF.

DNF WILL NOT BE TAKEN OFF OF THE FINAL POINT TOTAL AT THE END OF THE SEASON. YOU WILL STILL LOSE POINTS FROM THE RACES THAT YOU SCORED POINTS IN.

TO BETTER PREPARE FOR TWO LOBBIES IN THE FUTURE, WE ASK THAT EVERYONE BE IN THE ROOM BY 9 EST TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE HAS A CHANCE TO RACE.

If you disconnect, but you are still running and everyone else leaves, Finish your race and send me a screen shot of your race results including your official Overall time. Disconnections must be announced up to not exceeding, 1 hour after the race to collect the points from the race position your overall time drops into.
  • At least two tires must be kept within track limits at all times, rumbles, or curbs are included in track boundaries.
  • If a car gains an advantage by going over track limits, drivers are expected to life for one second to negate any potential advantage gained.
Bop Will be on for all races

  • A competition caution will be called at or close to the half way point of the race.
  • Once the leader crosses the start/finish line on the lap the caution is set to come out they will slow to caution pace.
  • Remaining drivers should continue to race to the start/finish line and then line up in order of position behind the leader.
  • All drivers will proceed through the pit lane at the end of the first caution lap.
  • Drivers may choose to roll through pit lane or complete a pit stop but ALL drivers must enter the pits. This is to maintain position integrity.
  • Do not pass other drivers when entering the pits.
  • Drivers are allowed to gain position during pit stops (this is the only time during a caution you should gain or lose positions).
  • After exiting the pits any lapped car may regain 1 lap and 1 lap only.
  • Once the lapped cars have rejoined the pack drivers will line up 2 wide for the race restart.
  • The leader will have the choice of inside or outside lane for restart. All other drivers will line up accordingly.

Incident Reporting Form

The other weeks that have track votes, what are we racing that week?

what would the spec car be?

Other than that I like the following of the gr3 and gr4.

ATTN: ALL ARL DRIVERS

We have spent the last couple weeks to try and figure out a way that makes confirming your attendance for any ARL event much easier. Before the members of the BOD would have to watch the thread post and make sure no one was missed. While most of the time this was the very well done, but along with anything that a human does there is errors that are made time to time.

With that being said we decided it was a good idea to go about and using a quick form that allows a driver to confirm for any one of our series. Which we will post a link to the form kinda like @Nick Cannella and @TEXAS jdc are doing right now.

With this change it falls onto the drivers laps for making sure that they are confirmed to race for that given night before the cut-off time frame which will be laid out for each series.

Every series has their own confirmation list that gets filled in automatically that will be posted in the first few posts of the series thread.

Here is the FORM that will be used until further notice. If a driver does not see their name they are to still post in the thread there intent to race. The form will automatically update every week or so with the new updated drivers list from all of our great series at ARL.

If you have any questions about anything that was mentioned above feel free to send me a PM and I will gladly talk you through any comments or concerns that you may have.

Thanks and look forward to seeing you on the track.

Hoping to have a car selected for the 2 hour special by Friday night. Stay tuned. There may/could be some changes to the schedule as well. Some updating will happen the the first post soon as well.

Willow Springs Big Willow is listed twice on the schedule, 2/18 and 3/31. Is this correct or an oversight?

Not an oversight. One is Gr.3 and the other is Gr.4 Following the Gr.3 and the Gr.4 schedule, and doing my very best to do that with the wildcards and limited Gr.4 races compared to Gr.3. We were bound to have atleast one race. Getting the schedule right was tough, but we’ve got it! They are far enough apart to be A-Okay. Great question.

Our first race will be here before you know it. Make sure we all know your intent to race by filling out this quick form FORM. GR2 at Nurburgring seems like it will be a blast for sure. below is the list of already confirmed drivers at this point.

Qualifying at Nurb Nord - 10 mins will only provide enough time for the Out Lap and part of the Timed lap.
Problem?

Problem?
Yes, so qually will be basically 1 outlap and then 1 timed lap. The 10 minutes will be up and everyone will be allowed to finish their lap.

keep in mind this race does not include the GP layout.

@Neutty
What is Time of Day, Fuel & Tire settings at the Nurb Nord?
