I'm kind of new to GTP forum but not to GT5 or making a league. If you like some close racing that is fair and clean then I suggest you give it a try! Here are some details for the league:

Cars: Only Premium cars
Drivetrain: FF only
Restrictions: 430PP - Free tuning
Tires: Sports Hard
Qualifying Time: 15 min
Race time: About 25-30 min (Depending on track)
Rounds: 8
Penalties: ON
Damage: Light
Slipstream: Weak
Fuel & Wear: Normal
Aids: Everything off except ABS
Start Type: Starts with false check
Race days: Tuesday only
Time: 7:00pm EST

People are pretty familiar with the meaning of "fair" and "clean". If you happen to push someone off you have to let the player regain their position, meaning you can't keep racing until he/she is in front of you again. No mics/commenting during the race to minimized lag. First race will be in 2 weeks (30th) to give a chance to people to join and set up cars.

Points as follows:

1st:20
2nd:14
3rd:12
4th:10
5th:8
6th:6
7th:4
8th:2

Rounds (Original, City and World tracks):

2. Monza Done!
3. Laguna Seca Raceway Done!

Im in, maybe you should edit the thread title as it still says Monday...
Also, I will be driving the Volvo C30, great car, I think 430 is its sweet spot, we will see.
One more thing, the Integra may have to be de-tuned a bit, since it is by far the fastest of the group. I would think anywhere from 2-5 pp depending on the driver, should make that car fair.

Was thinking of maybe changing my car over to the Mazda, but then found a great tune for the Volvo and once again, think I am going to stay with it. Probably isnt the best FF premium car, but it is in the top 5. If there was a pecking order for these cars, Im thinking it would go something like this..
1.) Integra: This car is in a class all by itself, it handles great, has awesome power on both the top and bottom, there is no weakness with this car.
2.) Civic (08): Not a suprise that the 2nd best FF premium car is another Honda. Pretty much the same as above, but not quite as dominant. Still fast, still handles well, but it is no Integra.
After those two, I think there is a big group of cars that all match up pretty well. In a four way tie for third, with the top two getting a slight edge over the bottom two.
3a.) Mazda Atenza: Misses on the top, but handles great with a nice smooth power band.
3a.) Honda Civic (EK): This car is very light, with nice top end power. Only thing holding this little guy back is the weak bottom end. Sometimes hard to get out of the corners if you are not in the perfect gear.
3b.) Volvo C30: This car has grown on me the last few times I have driven it. Wont win any top speed battles, as it does most of its work in the lower part of the RPM range. Has nice power delivery and it is easy to get on the gas early exiting corners.
3b.) Mini Cooper (05): Out of the Minis, the 05 was the only one I had any luck with staying with the group above. Great power curve, making max hp at redline. The newer Mini's make more of their power in the mid range, which seems to put them at a disadvantage in close tight pp races. If there is a magical set up for the newer ones, I havent found it.
4.) Ford Focus: At this pp level, this car may need 1 or 2 additional to stay competitive. Always seems I am a bit off the pace when I was testing with these cars

I know there are more than this, but these are the cars that I have enough mileage on to do a qrite up about them. I am also leaving out the Suzuki SX4, which is a car I enjoy to drive, just havent really matched it up with the vehicles listed above. Seems like it has some potential(I Liked the 05 better than the 07). I am guessing it will be somewhere down towards the bottom, with the ford.

Ket, I won't be able to race the next couple of Tuesdays but I will join you just for fun any time I am available. Thank you!

P.S. I will provide my car soon enough

I can probably make this, if there's a spot available for me. For this event, I'll use a Honda CR-Z '10. Quite a fast car at 420-450pp, with plenty of torque and a sharp chassis. It's.. still a hybrid though.

The Integra is really fast, the '08 Civic too. But so far people are choosing different cars and that's good!

Is it too late to change cars, since the league hasn't kicked off yet? I've decided I don't like the CR-Z nearly as much as I thought. If it is, then oh well.

No man, you can switch as much as you want, until the first race starts.

Not at all. We haven't started so you can still switch to another car. There are plenty of cars that are just as good as the Civics and Integras.

Alright, good. I'll be testing the FD2 Civic and Atenza tonight. I want something that isn't as OP as the Integra, but is still fast and good to drive.

Edit: Yeah, I'd like to change my car to the Civic Type R '08. It's overall my favorite car that isn't the Integra.
