I need so help with my tunes Focus. I think it can be quicker than 1:30xxx round Laguna Seca.

It has a oil change.
All Aero Parts
Weight reduction stage 1
High RPM Turbo
Racing Exhaust
Twin Clutch Plate
Full L.S.D
Full Suspension
Full Gear Box

Racing Softs
TC - 0
ABS - 1

Running 305BHP (Power Limiter)

Any good tips and tunes would be very good.

Also my soft tires are lasting about 4 laps.

No idea how well your build will drive, try the above...

PS - Have you tried Praiano's build yet..??

This car is like most of the FF cars very lazy to turn and show a lot of understeer.
To go against this tendency you need to:
1- ride height = raise the front and low the rear ( a lot)
2- increase LSD initial and accel. I don't know what kind of "soft tires" you're using but with 305 HP and 1300 kg you can add more traction.
3-forget the downforce. If you have a HP limit , you will not gain any points performances with this but at least it will let your rear more "happy". Easiest to induce the rotation of the car.
4-forget the rear camber. The goal is to lose the rear not to add grip.

Springs & dampers must be setted for this configuration the way you feel good with your car.

Hope it help you.

There is also this tune, it's only 400PP but i remember that i enjoy a lot this car during the ring 400pp CS tires shootout. From Theo777

Not tried it yet. Was playing about with the car.

I'm using racing Softs and they won't last. The car on laguna seca destroys tires

To go against this tendency you need to:
1- ride height = raise the front and low the rear ( a lot)

Lowering the rear drastically must also be balanced with springs and dampers that are stiff enough to stop the car bottoming out, but not so stiff that the rear is completely solid.

Compress the rear too far, without adequate support and you'll lose the rear going exiting the corkscrew.

2- increase LSD initial and accel. I don't know what kind of "soft tires" you're using but with 305 HP and 1300 kg you can add more traction.

Agreed 👍

I don't agree with entirely doing away with rear camber, I do agree that it should be lowered though. Like point 1, if you drastically reduce rear grip, you will spin exiting the corkscrew, as the tyre rolls over, even on racing slicks.

Springs & dampers must be setted for this configuration the way you feel good with your car.

Agreed 👍 You need to balance the levels of grip at either end. You want most going to the front, but if there's too much at the front and not enough at the rear, you will encounter trouble when the car is at the limits of the suspension, be that when fully compressed or extended (dips and crests).

All that being said, there is no definitively right or wrong answer, but I urge you to pay more attention to Praiano than I. He's a pro, I'm strictly an amature, who has recently been wrestling with 500PP FWD cars of racing softs...
