if i use a gtr r35 engine on a evo x, can i use drag tunes from the gtr with the evo x body and chassis?

Id use the R35 gears but the Evo Suspension with maybe a lil bit stiffer front due to the extra weight.

Nope. Unless you swap out…uhh let's see…the gearbox and the suspension and maybe the drive train as well, the tune might not fit. But once you swap all that in from the R35, yes, you can probably use a tune for the GTR on it.

So only d chasis and body remains as evo and every other thing is frm gtr?

Uhh…yea, take suspension, drive train, gearbox from R35, everything else shouldn't have an effect on the car.

From my experience Gearbox code only really impacts ur shift speed, and gear count. I run stock gearbox on swaps unless I need the 6th or 7th gear, or just want the faster shift speed.

The other codes do have a serious effect, especially LCD. Since they are both AWD you do not needed to use the layout or LSD codes on this particular swap.

I would suggest AGAINST using the GTR suspension code as its just going to act like a GTR not much Evo but aesthetics. The Evo suspension will give keep this closer to legit.

Engine, just swap it over. However surprised to see a 4G63 getting pulled, normally its what you stuff into something to make that something better.

Use GTR settings on the gears but Evo settings on the suspension and you should be all set.

Keep in mind if you use a part code (like LSD or suspension) adding a adjustable lsd or suspension will remove the hacked part, so unless you use adjustable parts from the source car, you cannot upgrade to adjustable parts to change the settings.
