Race Recap
This was a really challenging week in Flex. Race 1 was held on Toscana (Tarmac) in the dark. It was a very tricky track with multiple blind corners and a few radius reducing corners as well. Throw in the mix a lack of light and everyone who participated deserves a big đź‘Ť. With only a few laps of daylight in qualifying to get to know the track we were basically driving blind which seemed to suit Ridgeline just fine. He got pole, got out to a great lead and also put in the fastest lap. There were many battles throughout the race and a few off track excursions as well. Nice race everyone! Race 2 was held on Mt. Aso (Tarmac) and a very fast and narrow hilly oval. Turn 1 seemed to give people the most problems as well as catching a tire on some of the fast sweepers. Again there were a lot of great battles this race with a bit more bumping then we’re accustomed to here in Turtle. Final results had a tie for 4th and 5th place between Johnsom and Count with Johnsom getting 4th with the faster times in each race. There was also a 3-way tie for 8th, 9th, and 10th place between MBOBB, dlmnf4, and Shred-tec. MBOBB pulled out 8th place for having the fastest lap between the 3 in race 2 and the second fastest in the first race. 9th place went to dlmnf4 for having the fastest lap in race 1. Great racing everyone.
