Its my first time to bought this mag coz i dont want to miss that free download episode of Battlestar Galactica their giving away. Id say its a nice issue they got there coz its like getting a download and a magazine in one price...:)

I've seen their mini-series DVD or something. It was pretty good. So, how does this free episode download thing work?

Same here I do really like the miniseries...:)

The mag has a coupon with 12-digit code on the cover, which you can enter on iTunes to receive the free download...pretty awesome coz its a new episode their giving away.

It pretty much has, which is why TV Guide has basically become a magazine now, with interviews, show information, and other things. Many of them too are basically made as collectors items and come out with special covers, or have covers that people want (ie. first time the Simpsons were on the cover). TV Guide was around for a pretty long time before the show guide made it pretty much useless, so to some people it does carry a nostalgia.

Other people are just too old or incompetent to know how to use the guide on most cable and satelite boxes to its full extent and are more contempt to just buy a TV Guide and look it up.

I love the new format of the mag it continues to be driven by the shows, the characters, the celebrities behind the characters and a very strong guidance component.

There is no doubt that consumers need television guidance and tools – perhaps more than ever before...good thing there is tv guide.

Who reads TV Guide anymore? I would have thought that all the on-screen guides would have all but replaced that tired old rag by now...
It's hard to use those on-screen guides while you're sitting on the crapper. But, somehow, I still manage to do it.

You just need a long-range remote. And a clear path to the console. Or you could set up an elaborate path of mirrors to bounce the signal off of so you can change channels while you pinch your loaf.

Or just stick a TV in your bathroom. ;) I have a "shower TV" too. I know, I need help...
