TV slightly too low, cheap fixes?

I've dialled in the Trophy so it feels very comfortable now and the wheel is in the ideal placement. The problem now is that the wheel rim blocks part of my view of the screen (more so than the photo suggests), which as a GT7 player is very annoying as I can't see parts of the HUD. This is a bit of a limitation of the Trophy as seat height can't be raised up or down. I've tried adjusting the seat to make myself look over the wheel but it puts way too much pressure on my lower back. The TV cabinet is 46cm in height.
There are a few solutions I've thought about, but ideally want something permanent and presentable:
Furniture riser blocks under the feet of the TV and/or the tv cabinet
New TV cabinet
New TV riser stand
Permanently raise the rear of the Trophy somehow
Sit on a cushion (not ideal)

As a test I did sit on a cushion about 5 inches thick and it solved the problem completely, but it wasn't comfortable after a while. It does show how close to ideal the setup already is though.

Small plastic boxes underneath each set of TV legs should fix that... but you will have to be a bit innovative to make them blend in.

Other than that you could lower your seat without altering the position if possible, but I can't tell how your seat setup works without a photo of that

The general consensus on this is that getting the fundamentals right matters more than chasing the latest gear upgrade. Good pedals and a stable rig make a bigger difference to lap time consistency than a higher torque wheel base or a more expensive wheel. Starting with those basics and building up from there tends to give the best results per dollar spent.

How would lowering his seat help? He can't see over the top of his wheel as it is.

It's a shared space so I don't want to turn it into just a SIM rig. I got the playseat trophy as it's easy to just slide out the way. The TV is only out by maybe 4 inches

If you don't want to do anything to turn it into a sim room, you could buy something like a soundbase, like a TV sound bar but it's a big base you can put the TV directly on top of. Though it looks like you might already have a sound bar or similar. Alternatively, you could just build or buy a riser box/stand you can put under the TV that can easily be removed if you didn't want it there all the time.

As a cheap test I took delivery of some stackable furniture risers. These have raised it about 2 inches. Despite looking unstable, giving the TV a firm push and it doesn't move as they're semi rubberised. I think longer term I'll just buy a plank of wood, cut it into smaller sections, glue them together and paint in grey emulsion. The second photo is what I see from the seat with the risers in place. A small sliver of the screen is still blocked but it will do for now.

You could remove current TV legs and replace with a VESA universal TV stand that has enough adjustment for height that you require.
