PS
Or if you're 2 miles up. Last I recalled, most people can't see that far. ;)
We are soooo off-topic here(what else is new). Did you forget about other aircrafts? They'll still see you.

UFO's exist, after all, they are just objects that can't be identified. But some kind of Alien Craft? I don't think so.

I believe there is some life elsewhere in space, but why would they come here anyway? Of all places, here?

I know we could be attractive to them because we are supposed to be 'intelligent life forms', but generally there are so many terrible people, if Aliens do exist (which they don't), and they were curious in us lot (which they're not), you'd think they'd go straight to someone clever or with some high status, not just a normal person who lives in 'Birmingham' of all places.

It was probably some chavs messing about, that happens a lot in Birmingham

Well, one happened to me last night, I was on my trampoline later than usual (About 10:00) When I hear this very faint noise that I can't explain (It was like humming) coming from above me, so, as anyone would do, I looked up and I saw a bright light directly above me (About 5-6 miles in the sky) When I first saw it I thought it was a helicopter, but then I thought it couldn't be because it would have been making a lot more noise, now this bit threw me, as I was staring at it it appeared to be getting closer, although the noise didn't grow at all. But it was getting brighter so I assumed it was getting closer, all of a sudden it became a lot smaller and the noise grew, this scared me as the noise kept getting louder and louder and then it just disappeared, I mean everything the noise and the light. I went back inside and told my Dad about what I had just seen, he looked outside and simply said, "O.K, Son" and then I went onto the computer and then to bed.

I am a firm U.F.O believer myself, and my family are believers, and I really think I saw a U.F.O and I refuse to believe anything else that isn't sensible.

Has anyone else had an encounter with a U.F.O before? Or am I just loopy?

How big is this trampoline?

lol i r nub/!1!!!

For future reference, the 15 footers are generally better for paranormal activity.

Here's another "stealth dirigible" story:

http://www.space.com/businesstechnology/flying_triangle_040902.html

This stealth-buff site shows both of the craft I mentioned:

http://www.lowobservable.com/Black.htm

A "blimp" would have no internal framework and is basically just a glorified balloon. A "dirigible" has a rigid frame surround by a fabric shell. I doubt that these things are blimps. They're too big.

The "TR-3B" has generated some wacky speculation about it being "reverse-engineered" from "alien technology". Yeah, right:

http://seekers.100megs6.com/UFOManTR-3B.htm

Oh, please. We've come up with some sort of exotic drive, folks. That's all there is to it. It may prove impractical, and get ditched later on, as so many programs do. Whatever it is, a lot of people are having fun speculating over it:

http://www.deepspace4.com/pages/science/flayingtriangle/flayingtriangle3tr-3b.htm

As the story has been passed on, the craft has grown in size to 600 feet. Sounds like they're confusing the "blimp/dirigible" with the TR-3B. UFO buffs are prone to confusion, though, so this is no surprise...

To this site: Huh?

This craft has a nuclear reactor on board. Yeah, right. That instantly puts it at 1000 tons, or thereabouts.

It also has a particle accelerator on board. I believe the smallest known one is CERN - 2km in diameter.

And how the HELL do they know what the top of the craft looks like?

Famine, whats in your avatar (changing subject breifly), i can't see anything

My mum was telling me bout how she supposedly saw a UFO of Alien like form whilst she was Hop-picking, but i'm a sceptic, so i refuse to believe it anyway

Hops will do that to you.

My avatar is an artist's impression of the Invisible Pink Unicorn (May Her Hooves Never Be Shod). Many people have claimed to see Her appear to them through my avatar - they are truely blessed.

Incidentally, you say "if Aliens do exist (which they don't)". Odds are that they do - in fact the odds are 1:1. That said, it's unlikely we'll ever see any, though we have been calling on them to drop in for the last 80 years.

good point at the end there, i suppose i kinda put it wrongly...

they may exist somewhere else, but the chances that we'll meet them are very slim

Everyone looks to Mars for aliens.

It's obviously the combined power of Saturn and Neptune harvesting aliens.

Yep. "Wacky speculation" at its best.

I'll look through that very professional-looking site more thoroughly, but they lost me after just a few of the "briefing points". Come on, now. This planet is not crawling with extra-terrestrials, we have not shot several of their craft down, and we are not going to reverse-engineer the technology of the downed craft to solve all our energy problems.

this is all happening behind closed doors. Watch their video.
