During the french national anthem just then there was a bolt of lightning that made the tv screen turn blue for a splitsecond! an omen for the french!:scared:
 
Yeah, the stadium screen was just flashing red. Would be helpful if they were in a retractable roof stadium. Ukraine looked good in those 5 minutes though.
 
Dont think this has happened in a major tournament before!!
 
Wonder what happens if the games gets called off, will the a replay be played? A draw given? :confused:
 
Oh, at 5 I would assume as there is already 2 games at 7:45 tomorrow.

Did you see those massive patches of standing water on the pitch! no sign of the rain slowing, its just bouncing of the ground!!

These conditions remind me of the match between Switzerland and Turkey in Basel 4 years ago. That turned out to be a pretty interesting match if I recall, and not just because of the poor weather, or the fact that the broadcast cut out a few times during the match.

Nope, worst case secnario is that we will have to change over from ITV about 70 minutes into the France game to go to BBC for the English game.

Most likely that will not happen, the game needs to be played tonight.

And our weather guy just announced that the worst weather is gone now.
 
I think I heard a commentator say a game can be rescheduled 4 hours after it's called off. So maybe an early morning game.

EDIT: Or well late night for us.

EDITII: It will probably restart at 6 BST
