As Dennisch mentioned, he doesn't gel with Van Persie. Much like sticking Lampard and Gerrard in the England team for years and it not working.
 
God... Germany's not even playing bad, they're putting up a lot of pressure, but they just can't nail it. So frustrating.

This. It needs to be Huntelaar or van Persie. Not both. It just doesn't work.

van Persie out, Kuijt in, and within 5 minutes we are through to the next round.

I've counted 6 :lol:

Van Persie, Robben, Huntelaar, Van der Vaart, Sneijder & Afellay.

That's where their problem lies, in an attacking sense they have some of the best players in the world, you look at their defence though I don't even think it falls into the average category.
