He, he! I really can't see us playing that well again and not bagging a hatful. As long as we keep playing well we will be ok.
 
England v Iceland on Monday night 8pm in Nice.
 
Having supported England in two games thus far, I'll probably get behind Iceland in the next round. I'd support England over Portugal, but not necessarily Iceland! I think England will progress, but Iceland have qualities that are starkly absent from the current England side - guts, determination, solidarity, desire... for that reason alone I reckon Iceland have a decent chance, and England will seriously need to up their game if they are to avoid a humiliating exit... (hopefully not a second humiliating exit from Europe in the space of 4 days!!).

Barring another game of squandered chances and possible humiliation next week or Italy/Spain* reaching the Semis, England would need to just fool themselves into thinking they're playing friendlies on Nov 17th 2015 and March 26th 2016 for an easy path to the final. :dopey:


*Watch as Slovakia beat Germany for the second time on the trot followed by a shock Quarter-finals rout to set up a rematch.
 
So, Sweden beats Belgium tonight and Ireland beats Italy.

Belgium out. Turkey out.



Would be HILARIOUS.
 
At the moment, Italy can do anything they want. In the last five minutes there's been three straight up penalty offences, with nothing given.
 
Oh look, Ireland got screwed on French soil again.
 
Welp. Belgium just put Sweden out of its misery.

Edit : At least Iceland and Hungary are through to the round of 16.

Conclusion about Belgium after 3 games. When they meet a opponent with a proper offense they'll have their asses handed to them.
