The last time Spain were in this kit, I was watching the game in a pub on a low-res projector. From a distance the front looked like a big grass stain.
 
The recent counter from Italy which led to a shot started with every one of the Italian players in the final third of their own half, they'll be very tough to beat.
 
You would think for a game of this importance that Spain might have played a few defenders, but what do I know... Not De Gea's biggest fan, but it should be 3 or 4-0 by now. Italy look brilliant - dare I say it but this is pretty clear evidence that they threw the Ireland game.
 
Just home from work for the second half, seen first half highlights, wow Italy have been brilliant and Spain crap so far, scruffy goal though, De Gea keepin Spain in it...
 
Sterling Kane and Sturridge up front for England later....

Nah England to win by at least two I think, some players due a big performance like Alli and Sterling....
 
But we haven't won a knockout match since 2006. Sterling being good is alternative universe territory. Can we swop him for Bale? :lol:

They didn't play a full strength team as they were already through and wanted to rest players/give others a game.

Exactly... though I am not saying that they set out to lose on purpose, they were far, far worse than they have been in all of their other games because they knew they could lose to Ireland by any score and still win the group under any circumstances, since even if Belgium had finished with a superior goal difference in total, Italy would still have ranked above them due to their win over Belgium.
