I believe these flying things exist, but what makes you think they are aliens. ;)

Seems like good timing, what with War of the Worlds being released. Coincidence?

Although, this sighting seems to be just a bunch of party balloons.
 all flying at the same speed?? Must be radio controlled party balloons

Yes, all at the same speed. If there is no force to stop the balloons, they will continue on forever.

Just because they are Unidentified Flying Objects doesn't mean they are from a different planet.

True
But I think lots of people like the idea of aliens visiting our planet.
there is a force to slow down the balloons: its called air, wind and ....

They're all being pushed by the same wind, so I would think it's safe to assume they'd all fly at the same speed...
👍

Sorry Duke, but the wind is never constant. If this was the case, pilots would have it very easy.
Test it yourself. Let go off a couple of balloons (all with the same amount of helium in it). They will go and fly different directions.

Indeed - anything in the air you cannot identify is an unidentified flying object. It could be a plane reeeeeeeeeeally high up so that you can see a blob and a vapour trail, or it could be a Romulan Warbird - until you can identify it, at which point it ceases to be a UFO.

well if it was balloons they must have spent a fortune!!! you seen the tv vid?? theres loads!! wonder how much for the big one...besides, they look self illuminated

These "crafts" really do exist. While I believe like 99% of the sightings are phony or mistaken, there are simply too many credible sightings. My mom's friend's case was one of them. She says a huge craft hovered over her neighborhood for a couple of minutes, then took off. She's one of those people, who is perfectly normal, with absolutely no reason to make something like that up. Also, some cases has mass witnesses, like that sighting in Phoenix(Arizona, USA) few years ago.

My guess is that they are military secret, but who knows?

I say again - eyewitness testimony said that the 757 which actually hit the Pentagon on 9th September "Banked up sharply at the last second and then disappeared."

"Credible" sightings don't exist when people can witness a large passenger aeroplane vanish in front of their eyes.

Another example – My English teacher got in a really bad accident several years ago. She swears that the car that crashed into her was red, yet she still has a piece of metal from that car (that was lodged in her bumper), and it's – white. She has proof that it was a white car, but her mind always replays a red car hitting her.

Eyewitness accounts are terrible evidence.

And what did I say? When I said I don't trust 99% of the witness accounts, I meant that. I mentioned that lady's story, because it was a case, the friggin' object was floating over her block for a couple of minutes. Was it red? was it white? who knows. :p But most people would be able to tell, if that object is harrier or helicopter, while it's hovering over their heads for couple of minutes.

Other sightings involve TV stations catching lights doing crazy stuff in the night sky. Phoenix one was just 2 or 3 balls of lights, just staying in one spot, and no it wasn't a star or anything like that. There are some that's been captured on tape doing crazy acrobats.

Again, I don't believe most of them. But you can't discredit 100% of the sightings as fakes or error.

Sounds like you had an interesting English teacher, mine was a pain in the A$$ the whole class didn't like her even students now are complaining that she is horrible. Oh god I just dug this from google. Her horrible pic. ahahaha B!tch:trouble:

her nose is actually bigger than what it looks in the pic. :sly: and had acne all over the face constantly. God I hate her.

Not cool.

She isn't here to defend herself.

Like.. her PHOTO?

How come they are below the clouds?

Planes are large objects, and are still visible even when flying at high altitude (well above the clouds)... these objects are clearly visible, and are below the clouds... therefore, they must be much much closer than the average plane flys... if they are much closer, and still appear small, then they must be much smaller objects than planes... i.e balloons (or very small, silent spaceships, in which case, if they contain little aliens, we could just stomp them when they land... 💡 )

I just bothered to read the article and watch the video, because of Touring Mars' comments. :D Now I see why you guys are saying balloons.

Yep. Balloons. And the 'mothership' is just a bundle of them.

No more cervezas for them.

Mexicans are always seeing "UFOs" in the sky. In San Diego, the Met Life blimp was flying over a Padre's game and in Mexico they claimed it was a UFO. UFOs and news about them is very popular in Mexico. I'm betting chupacabra is a space monkey.

LOL, I didn´t know chupacabras was so famous.

Edit: Just baloons in my opinion too.
