Not just you, everyone. If I had a pound for every time I've asked a stupid question because I can't remember it's already been answered, I could afford to buy a house up there and not have to ask in the first place. Story of my life.

I wouldn't reserve one, or three as is now needed due to my incredible size, because I can never confirm if im going to turn up till the day, and it wouldn't be fair to deprive someone else (or no-one, in this case) if I didn't. Sorry Milford.

Completely baffled by daan's reply...

I'm not going to commit to any equipment until I know when I'm working, flying back Sunday night is looking very likely, in which case, TV is unlikely...PS2 and rest is given, wheel, probably not.

Can't think of anything else, will update this when I see something I could bring on someone else's list that I haven't thought of.

2x DS2 (maybe even two that have working buttons... as I remember someone had trouble with that last time when I forgot to mention that it was semi-broken... "I can't change gear!")
1x memory card
1x GT4

No TV unfortunately, as mine is still a 14" CRT and probably wouldn't fit on the shelves.

Without a hell of a lot of gaffa tape, that is.

Right, I'm not working the BH Monday \o/ So I'm definitely there. Need to sort out the other shmizzle now. Oh, my PS2 has stopped playing DVD's, I need to check games work on it, if not there is a fattie adaptor on it. Oh and my little TV may not be appreciated given it has a poor SCART socket and likes to flicker from picture to no picture...
 
*sigh* Yet again, it looks like money issues means I will have to cancel again, sorry guys. Work cut down my hours and I was off sick for a while so I'm having to cancel a whole load of arrangements over the next few months so I can afford to live and keep my car. I can't even go to London to see a friend modelling in a fashion show and to perv on the models :(

I may not be able to attend due to work (i.e. being in a different country.) But all my stuff can go up.

There's still three additional sleeping places up for grabs which no-one seems all that bothered by. Though I've executively decided that first refusal on the spare double goes to Mr and Not Mrs Mark T (she may as well have a comfy place to sleep if she's going to be bored for three days).

You should be aware though that hotels, though more expensive than a house, at least provide the room temperature you want, your own bathroom facilities and breakfast. Whereas we provide somewhere you can lie down partially clothed and that's your lot.

I also need - for parking arrangementing - to know who needs to leave when on Monday/Tuesday. Tuesday stayers (so long as they arrive before the LAN actually starts) have parking spaces aplenty out the back, as do Monday-but-after-the-end-of-the-LAN stayers. Unless you're arriving on a motorbike, it's going to be tough to squeeze you through the garage with the LAN in situ...

I'm definitely interested in them, but why do I have to be partially clothed? There some law against me being fully nudy or fully clothed? Though I suppose as it's the North-East I should have my T-shirt off all the time!

I still need to test GT4 on the PS2 *goes and tests GT4* to check it works. Nope, dead disc reader. I may have time in the couple of weeks before the Elf to take it apart and see if I can manually clean it. But count me out of a PS2.

However, I do have the fattie network adaptor on the back. So if someone has a fat PS2 un-network adapted, bring it along and we can put 2 & 2 together, etc.

Do DFGT's work on GT4? I'd happily use a going G25...

My stuff:

1 x GT4
1 x DS2
3 x Memory Card
2 x Scart cables (with Scart adaptors)
1 x Fattie TV, which now works properly, no flicking whatsoever \o/

Roo, bring the gaffa tape!

Need to know what daan, Mark T and Tig/Sheep are bringing and what is already at house Famine?

I was tempted to go and buy an LCD, but with a couple of open days at Unis around the corner, my cash flow is moving as much as an Alfa Romeo.
 
I've got sufficient stuff for a 3 machine LAN - save one wheel and an XGA adapter from Venari - here and on loan to the Doyles. They've also got a skinny PSTwo, a GT4, a memory card and associated cabling and a Luccadatuv.

So that's...

4 x PSTwo
2 x wheel (G25, DFP)
4 x TV (including Venari's XGA adapter)
4 x DS2
4 x GT4

And all the switches and crazy crap besides.

Given that we only have NINE attendees (possibly 8 depending on Magna Steyr), I reckon we've got enough crap for a 5 & 4 LAN.

There's some potential for my wheeling it... At a recent miniLAN I somehow managed to set the fastest lap of all of us at Seoul wielding a G25 (though it took me a few laps to get there), but I still prefer DS2ing it - at the very least it means I'm flexible with regards to which machine I sit at, 'cos they all have DS2s :D

Nuh-uh. Go check my equipment list ;) I'm a G25 man now!

Actually, I can use either, I just prefer a G25.
 
You'll have to be moving to wheel soon, the GT5 LANs will have a lot of wheel dominance. Found that out for myself, can't believe the difference between physics.

Bah!

HFS is a paddie, isn't he?

Edit: I'll bring my DFGT then. It does work on GT4 apparently.
