I can't find the clip but it reminds me of a recent Family Guy episode.

Having fixed my PS2 it was skipping whilst playing a DVD last night, so if we keep that as a back up for the event, rather than one which we put in straight away.

As we are parking out the back, we will want to be sure we can start setting up the LANs ASAP, won't we? I imagine Roo and I will be the latest to arrive?
 
I'm getting there early on Saturday, I don't know about anyone else.

Incidentally, how early is okay for turning up on Sat? I don't wish to be there at the crack of dawn obviously, but I wouldn't like to delay proceedings by arriving too soon before lunchtime...
 
We'll probably start driving at lunchtime. Gives us chance to shovel everyone who needs to go out back out back, set the units up, shopping trips, noms and getting very, very drunk before driving.
 
As long as you don't arrive before 9am, then that's fine. Gives me chance to sort out the animals and the child before people start descending upon my household!
 
Any news on whether Venari shall be joining us? or is he definitely working?

Venari is teaching Austrian tractor manufacturers right now, and will be joining us for Elfing.
 
After 9am, sorted. For my own sanity I'll probably try and get there for around ten then 👍
 
We got there for about 10 last time iirc, depends on how long I leave it until I wake Roo up in the morning! I'll bring my snooker cue and I can poke him with it.
 
What time does everyone need to go on Monday? Early, middle, late or Tuesday?

It kinda defines the parking order :D
 
I think Roo said we'd leave about 2pm on Monday. I could do later, but considering I start a new job on the Tuesday at 9am, I'd rather not be shattered too much.
 
I'll have to consider plonking the Lolvo on the front driveway in that case.

So, MX-3 of noise, Freddie, 406 of Le-Shuttle-catching and Fiesta of Sadface out back, Lolvo and a possible VEXD VTEC at the front and Pug of Doooooooooooooooooooom round the corner as a ferry car.

As for when I'm leaving on Monday... no idea. Not too late that you get sick of me but not early enough to inconvenience the parking arrangements.
 
Just been looking at the hotels that Famine-o-saurus recommended and some of them are now booked. I have found one in the neighbouring village which looks reasonably priced and are only 5 mins drive away. Just going to check the accommodation suits the girlfriend and I'll get it booked. I'm working until 4pm on the Saturday so will be leaving straight after that and ETA is around 9pm at Famine/Milford HQ. I'm sure that you'll all be wrecked by the time I get there. I was scheduled to have that Saturday off but with my brothers wedding being tomorrow I had to swap the Saturdays over at work. At least we'll have the full Sunday and part of Monday there.

Will report back to this thread once I have everything confirmed with the boss (not Sureboss).

I have prepared a mark V escort passenger seat with steel sharp frame thingy attachment, a single ps2, 2 DFP's, 1 vital foam cuboid, 1 GT4 and no tellybox.

Oh and a quadrupleplug.

I reckon I'll be there nearer 11am than the 10am I planned, thanks to some un-scheduled things I have to do early tomorrow morning.
