The shadows looks better, but not like GT5P. Car's self-shadowing variates depending on track. In some cases it looks very good, others not much. Car shadows on track, and inside car (cockpit view) looks very good now, IMO.

Yeah, that's the one thing I really miss, still have so many cars to buy, unfortunately. I want a whole fleet of FGT cars, and that will cost a pretty credit.

I have two questions I think no one has asked yet.

Are the replays the same? I'm tired of so many camera positions being 4' off the ground.

Has anyone tried to delete a time off their Time Trial board yet? The board really needs to be changed, with way more listing points and the ability to delete individual entries.

Will edit after I run a couple laps in my 787B to see if the physics truly seem different.

Ok- 3 1/2 laps, can conclude racing softs behave like a soft tire and provide GRIP for once. I managed to drift my 787B (lol) with no "snap-back" (I believe that's the right term?) after flooring it out of hammerhead. I can say though, go slower- I believe I've been needing to go just a tad bit slower around corners now. Better physics? I think so (my opinion). The 787B definitely seems to be more tamed now than it was.

Free run at Top Gear doesn't have standing starts unfortunately :(

I am so tempted to just leave work right now, and start the update so I can just get in and drive tonight! Shuffle with zonda's? My god, where will it end ! ;-)

I really think with the new online shuffle parameters, the whole shuffle community will get a new lease on life (not that we really needed that, but it will open up new opportunities if you ask me).

So, I for one, am quite content with PD's effort in this Spec 2 update, especially with all the smaller modifications like the possibility to reject tuned cars etc.
 
You can see the headlights (and headlights reflecting off the track) of cars behind you at night. Not perfect but much better than before.
 
Sorry if this is already mentioned, but now you can cancel out the loading time when you hit the Race button on certain screens like on the Free Run screen on Practice Mode.
 
Slipstream still quite unrealistic even on weak, but atleast it doesn't grab you from as far away as it used to. You have to get closer for it to work but it's still way too strong.
 
Not sure if anyone said this already but the (offline) special events have changed. Restrictions for the kart event already include the new DLC kart and the nascar event uses the 2011 model now instead of the 2010 model. Not a big change I know, just something I noticed. :P

I have been wondering the same and I've been looking for it, maybe my current drivers suit doesn't show it.

I tried earlier, try pressing triangle when moving the car, i pressed everything and bob popped up.

Yeah I know, but thats not what I was refering to, I was referring to having the manufacturer logo on the driving suit.
 
So, there's not much hidden then? Oh well, this update still looks intense. 👍 5PM can't come soon enough.

I've only heard of a few times it happens, Mine happened when I did the borrow glitch and bought a car with 1.0, when I came back to the current version the car I bought was broken.

He was talking about the car logo we're driving showing in the suit. That's something I've also been looking for but it's not showing up at all :indiff:

Edit: after posting the reply I saw that you had already noticed that you had misunderstood it.
 
Cars now wobble when they have suspension damage... or maybe I did not notice this before. The engine sounds are more "broken" sounding when the car is well... broken.
